Meigs at Athens

The Bulldogs are very busy this week. A real royal rumble victory over Logan on Tuesday, hosting Meigs on Friday in a divisional showdown, traveling to county rival Trimble on Saturday, and then playing a very good Greenup Kentucky team on Monday. Will the legs hold up, I hope so.
With the addition of Bolin, the Marauders should be improving. A very athletic team, do the Dogs walk away with an easy win, I doubt it, but i am hoping for one to keep them on top of the TVC Ohio for the time being, lots of league games left to play. The next few weeks will sort that out for sure.
Go Bulldogs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is too bad. He is a great kid who is a difference maker for that team. Is it serious?

I think Athens starters will get plenty of well deserved rest in this one. Athens should win by at least 20. Meigs can shoot the ball well in spurts but I dont think they will be able to pull off the upset.

I don't know about as many as they want but they will win by a large margin.

If this is true I may just start going and watching the games again. In the long run this will help the team IMO.

Athens can't take any team for granted. I too hope it is a game that will give starters rest and other players playing time, but the Bulldogs have to take one game at a time.
Go Dawgs, keep playing with IQ, patience and tenacity.
Bulldogs by at least 10.

There is no way that Meigs will be better without Jeremy Smith, He is the only player on the team that understands basketball is a team game. He gives 100%

defeated Meigs 51-31 at McAfee Gymnasium tonight in
a Tri-Valley Conference game, Athens is now 8-1 overall
and 4-0 in the league. Meigs drops 1-9 and 0-5. The Marauders
have been hampered by some injuries and other matters,
With Athens leading 34-27 early in the fourth quarter
the Bulldogs opened up a 49-27 lead before a pair
