I believe the following records are correct..

This sectional looks more difficult this year compared to the past several years.

1. Logan Elm 10-1
2. Athens 9-1
3. Vinton County 7-2
4. Warren 7-3
5. Sheridan 6-2
6. Fairfield Union 5-5
7 Gallia Academy 4-6
8. Marietta 2-7
9. New Lexington 2-9

I think Warren beats #2 and #3 7x out of every 10......but all you can do is win and Athens is doing that.

Will LE try to avoid FU at the #4 or #5?

I don't know anything about Sheridan at 6-2.

Ironman92,

I think one of Sheridan's wins is a one point win at FU

Those are tough to seed IMO.

I would seed them (trying to be fair)

1. LE
2. Athens
3. Warren
4. Sheridan
5. VC
6. FU
7. Gallia
8. Marietta
9. New Lex

4 and 5 could be switched as it's hard to say and it doesn't matter at all

Hard to put Seridan above VC when VC beat John Glen easily on a neutral court and JG beat Sheridan by double figures at Sheridan. Also I would be surprised to see VC loose another game before the seedings. It will be very interesting.

in the end Warren will be #2 and Vc will come in at third with Athens falling to four or lower

noreplay ... your crazy man - Athens already beat VC in their gym and has beaten other good opponents as well to keep their status as a quality team legit ... They beat Eastern (8-1), they have won AT ALEXANDER, AT VINTON COUNTY ... they have beaten LOGAN & GALLIPOLIS and knocked off a Trimble team in Glouster who had won 5 games in a row until they played the Bulldogs ... As long as they continue to win, they will be the No. 2 seed - especially with Warren having to play some tough teams going forward that could easilly hand them two or possibly even three more losses ... a 15-5 or 14-6 team should not get a higher seed than an 18-2 or 17-3.

ALSO - WHAT HAPPENED TO JACKSON? I THOUGHT THEY WERE IN THE LOGAN SECTIONAL?

If Vc wins out to the seeding time they will be the #2 in my opinion. That includes a game @ Athens. VC has 2 losses by a total of 3 points and really should not have lost either of the games. I feel VC will beat the Dogs by 10 or so @ Athens and get the the #2. However, as it stands now, Athens would be the 2 and Warren the 3.

A Warren team with even 2 more losses earns a better seed than Athens of VC. Warren's schedule is a gauntlet.

Then switch Sheridan and VC....simple, completely does not matter if you are #4 or #5

How each team beat JG is not much of an argument.

VC will beat Wellston by 20 or so I imagine......VC lost to Athens at home....Athens got trounced by Jackson by 26 points.....and Jackson beat Wellston by 1....you don't know.

THe tourney will settle...but avoiding #4 or #5 seed is pivital.

I think us leaving the S.E.O.A.L will haunt us come tournament draw time. I have to agree it may be very likely we get a 4 or 5 seed. It happened in baseball don't forget. I do think it will be Logan Elm and Warren at 1 and 2 then we'll have to wait and see. Sheridan even plays a much tougher schedule then us. so a 4 is very possible.

If Sheridan plays a much tougher schedule....then maybe it will be a #4

But being 9-1.....LE may not want you guys to be a #4....and side with you guys a bit.

Who knows?

Your key words "as long as they continue to win"

Right now Warrens schedule looks a lot stronger than Athens and the size of the school will help Warren in the seeding.Hard for Athens to get a high seed with them playing a small school schedule-just like football--but if they do more power to them.

How does Warren Beat VC 7 out of 10 times when the Vikings beat them in the foundation game pretty soundly?

IMO..the top seeds will look like this...

1. Logan Elm..No one will come close to this team come draw time.
2. Vinton County..I feel they will lose one more game...either @Athens or Piketon.
3/4. Athens/Warren...Could be either one of these teams in the 3 spot. Athens, imo will more than likely lose 2 games from here on out..@ Belpre and the team they play tonight (Greenup KY) I hear is VERY good. Plus I think they could very well lose at home to VC and @ NY. IF the bulldogs finish 15-5 (Which i feel will be the worst they will finish) they will be in the 4th spot. IF Warren can match the 15-5 they will no doubt be put in the 3rd spot. VC will have to at least finish the year at 17-3 to stay ahead of the Warriors IMO, and i think they will...I know the seeds are drawn before th year is over, but if this is the way things start to shake out come that time, i think this will be the order you see in Logan.

piketon would be a good bet to be the team that gives vc another loss

The seeding will be out before the end of the season. So the Piketon game will not matter. Just like last year the seedings were set before the VC v Piketon matchup.

Foundation game.

I believe Warren would beat Athens 6 or 7 times out of 10 on a nuetral floor and VC probably 7 times on a nuetral floor.

I've been wrong before....it's not a big deal, but this is my belief right now.
