I couldn't make it to the game lastnight, but I was very excited to see the final score. Not very many high school teams can put up 100 points. Congrats to the Vikings and goodluck tonight @ Clay!!!!

Alot of teams can put up 100 but they choose not to do that to a team. The vikings wont by nearly 50 points. Probably could of backed off a tad dont you think?

There was no "running up" of the score last night. The starters were on the bench. Every SV player played. Do you expect a team to shoot at the opponents basket to keep the game close?

I was not at the game, however, I was told that sure Symmes Valley took out the starters in the third quarter as well as NB and when the Vikings saw they might reach 100 points, the starters were put back in.

Congrats to the Vikings! Good Luck the rest of the way!

Tigers......put that game behind you! Get ready for the next game!

The game was not reported probably due to the fact they did not get back in town until after the deadline. It should be in Sundays paper. I will try to get the info from the Ironton Tribune tomorrow.

If you pulled you starters in the third quarter but then put them back in the fourth quarter because you thought you could hit 100 points, then you did in fact run the score up.

I was at the game, and I don't remember the starters being put back in in the 4th quarter. I did walk to the restroom, so I guess they could have been in and out in the 2 minutes I was gone, but I don't think so.

The Vikings did not run up the score and the starters only played close to half of the game. The Vikings bench played very well and all the players contributed to the big win. Every player scored and 5 of the players scored in double digits.

I wasn't there and have heard from those who were that SV did sub out starters in 3rd quarter. Who were the lead scorers? I know Tibbs had 27 against Clay the next night in the 58 to 56 loss.

your right some teams can score 100 but choose not to , but i was at the game and sv could have scored 150 and choose not too the starters did not re enter the game to get them to 100 ...sv scored in the 30's in the first quarter and then pulled the press off and never pressed again and pulled the starters in the first quarter and subed all 5 players , then middle of the 2nd quarter , then middle of 3rd quarter and they never played again ....I was setting on the new boston side and the fans said tell your coach thank you because this could have been alot worse ... every player on the team scored including our 30-30 guys (only go in up by 30 or down by 30)...for sv not to score 100 they would have had to hold the ball out front for the last 6 minutes of the game... because they was on 98 and went 4 minutes without scoring.. sometimes teams score 100 and still have class new boston put up 100 on us in their rinky dink gym a few years ago.. trust me sv could have made it alot worse

It is obvious that even those that were at the game did not know what went on. Even the Vikings fans differ on when the starters came out. They were in the game in the third quarter, you admit that.

Let it go! The Tigers lost..........Congrats Vikings!..........life goes on............there is a new game tonight.

Good Luck Tigers!

From reading the Ironton Tribune link it is obvious SV didn't run the score up. Tibbs lead with 17 points. He scored 27 points in the 58 - 56 loss to Clay the next night. Looks like every kid on the team scored and the scoring was balanced. If anything it looks like NB might have just gave up.

When you get to Varsity I think you should be able to win by as many as you want without people complaining.

I am a cousin of one of the players for the Vikings. The starters were put back in when they realized that they could score 100. My cousin scored the 96th the 100th. He is not a starter but he was the only one on the floor that wasnt. But he gets a great amount of playing time.

I talked to Tibbs at BW3's that night and he said he never played in the 4th quarter. SV has a good bench and will continue to win.

Alright you are crazy!!! First off i WAS at the game and i am going to put all these rumors to rest. Symmes Valleys starters played half of the first quarter, half the second quarter and a little in the third. The starters were NEVER put in in the fourth quarter. I know this for a FACT. Your cousin was NOT the only no starter on the court when the 100th point was scored. It seems to me like you are trying to talk your cousin up or somthing. Get your facts straight, then get on here and tell us what you think.

to DASANI, I know the person who scored the 100th point and I like him a lot. He has come a long way and has turned into quite a beast on the court, but your facts are incorrect. I figured you would have been at South Gallia's game that night.

I am going on what i was told by him. So excuse me. I figured since he was on the court he would know what he was talking about. Apparently not. Im sorry for my mistake.
