Didn't know till last night this game was in Chesapeake!!

Wonder how it went? What's North Adams' record?

Southern lost and for North Adams record not to sure

North Adams, led by Sam Loudon's 27 points, won 80-71.

North Adams is now 2-9 for the season....Today was a huge win for Coach Young and his boys. They have played hard in nearly every game and most have ended in a 5-7 point margin.

Hopefully this is a great start to the second half of the season!!

I imagine Southern was worn down by last night's cross-county rivalry game.

I imagine North Adams was worn down from last night's game vs county and SHL foe Peebles and the 2 HR+ bus ride to Peake

Remember, Southern's not next door either.

I don't know who NA plays, they may be a great team who gets scheduled against bigger/better schools.

This is this the first year in quite some time NA is not a very good basketball team. I will say they are improving with each game and hopefully by the time post season comes around they can upset some teams.

NA lost a lot of talent last year, but they are improving. They also have one of the best coaches in southern Ohio.

Southern was one of the most overrated teams in SEO coming into this game. Yes they were undefeated but they have played some horrible compitition.

Shouldn't take anything away from NA, they play hard. Nice win!

i agree with you chitwood i had the chance to see na a few times this year and they do seem to be playing a lot better

UH...I wasn't...I was taking away from the Southern excuse.

The only good team Southern had previously played was against Eastern and they got beat.

north adams will be a tough tournament draw for someone. i bet the top teams will try to manipulate it so they have to play another shl team.

My guess is that North Adams will probably play a 3 seed. Peebles will probably have to match up with West Union in the first round.

OUCH!!! This certainly does not help the image of the TVC. Way to go Southern. Thanks.

I wonder how much grudges against a conference can really affect a referee's judgement? A scene:

Three refs in a locker room, just before the game.

REF #1: Boy, I sure can't wait to fairly officiate this game tonight.

REF #2: Not me! I'm going to homer the heck out of this team.

REF #1: But why?

REF #2: Because they're part of the TVC! I just can't stomach the thought of the TVC having two top seeds in the tournament.

REF #1: But what about the kids playing the game?

REF #2: I know, I feel bad for the kids, but everytime I picture a tournament bracket with two TVC teams at the top...I get so mad I start shaking.

REF #1: But--

REF #3: The TVC must fall. It will begin tonight.
