I think this one will be a close game. With the Tigers pulling out a win! I have seen Northwest head coach at several of Waverlys games, so im pretty sure he has a good scouting report?! Hopefully Martin will be back to almost 100% come tuesday. Keep working on those Foul Shots TIGERS!

This will be a battle with Waverly needing to shut down Leslie.
The FT situation is all mental. The guys need to step to the line with confidence and knock em down. You can shoot em all day in practice, which they should, but until you step to the line in a game situation and shoot em with confidence it means nothing. How about Kretzer knocking down 3 in a row last night after being fouled on a half court shot at the 3rd quarter buzzer.

What was the score when he knocked them down ? Any pressure or were they up 30?

I think it was half time, & Waverly was only up like 6 or 7, I may be wrong. But I agree 2010, it doesnt matter how many you shoot when there is no one watching compared to a packed gym screaming, & another thing the tigers need to work on form. Roback solved his problem by removing his left hand, I mean you can shoot free throws till you're blue in the face, but if you have bad form you arent doing yourself any good, cause bad form shows when you are tired & the game is on the line.

Martin played Satuday, so my guess is he will be ready to go on Tuesday

I will take DA TIGERS in this one.

Hopefully this game is as good as its been the past 4 times. 1 Buzzer Beater for NW. OT thriller for Waverly. A hard fought 10 point win for Waverly. A defensive struggle with Kretzer (correct if im wrong) hitting a go ahead 3 in the final minutes.

Waverly has lost back to back conference games...another one and they would likely be out of the title hunt. Roback will have to stay out of fould trouble against Leslie for the Tigers to pull this one off if Martin is not 100%.

If Martin is effective, I'll take the Tigers by 10.

Good luck to both teams.

If Waverly comes out with the same intensity as they did at West, I see Northwest having trouble stopping them. Northwest is not a team to take lightly and this should be a good test for the Tigers tonight. I'll take Waverly in a close one.

Waverly MUST defend the home floor. The Tigers cannot afford any more losses at home. It's time for Waverly to put it all together as they head into the 2nd half of the season. With a league record of 4-2 the Tigers are still in the league hunt but with an overall record of 7-3 each game is very important as they fight for that all important #1 seed in the tournament. You don't want to be 2 or 3 in that sectional.

WAVERLY MUST COME OUT READY TO PLAY BALL TONIGHT!

I don't have a prediction for this game but I know Northwest always plays well against Waverly or at least they have for the past few years....So whoever wins I have a feeling it will be a close one

I think the key to this game will be how well Northwest shoots the ball from the perimeter. Leslie does a great job inside, regardless of what kind of D you play on him. He has an ability to find the open guy on the perimeter when defenses collapse on him. If Northwest is able to knock down that open shot and neutralize some of our size, it could be a long night. The Tigers need to come out physical and play well out of the gate (we can't continue to dig holes early against good teams). Northwest is not a team that you want hanging around in close ball-game.

If the Mohawks shoot the ball like they did at West (unlikely cause you cant be that bad twice in row) it will be a long night.
