How many people expected the jeeps to be where they are at this point in the season? I figured they would be pretty competitive, but not undefeated. But I love it.

I am surprised by it as well but if you read about the Jeeps in the summer time, the faithful had a lot of trust in their ball club and it shows. Way to stick to you're guns Jeeps fans.

The talent has been there the last two years but never utilized. I am glad coach Ater is using it and has brought passion back to the team. The Jeeps still have some big games left with Valley and Oak Hill that will test them so they need to keep working hard.

Someone told me before the season started that they didn't think our boys would win more than 7 or 8 games. I laughed in their face. A true Jeep fan will always support their Jeeps. We're 6-0 now; let's keep on winnin' Jeeps!!!!

south webster playing in the big division of the soc really helps them come tournament time as they are used to playing good teams. the smaller division of the soc has some very weak teams.

That is an understatement, the balance of power in the SOC is absolutely one sided. South Webster is on my regional watch list this season.

I had the Jeeps predicted around .500 before the season began as I thought certain league teams would be better than they have shown. Barring a huge collapse, I'll be happy to be wrong about it! Great to see the fans energized again after the last 2 years.

dimedrop: doesn't make them less of a fan if they only predicted 7-8 wins, just shows they aren't a blind homer predicting 20-0 seasons even when the talent level has been down.

sparky: great point...I believe Webster would have many more SOC title trophies in their case if they had played in the smaller division the last 20 years, but playing the bigger schools is huge come tourney time in D4 even if it means more losses in the regular season.

Tribemaniac: I started believing in this team more after you talked about their performance in the scrimmage with Peebles. Hearing it from an unbiased party made me think this team would be much improved, but I still wouldn't have predicted a 6-0 start.*

A true fan ALWAYS stands behind their team. You are going to have ups and downs but you will know who the true fans are from year to year. It's the same people sitting in the same spots every year no matter what!
