I think this game will be alot closer than people think...Burg may be struggling to win close games , but "I got a feeling" thats about to turn around...Looking forward to this game..

As I stated on another thread, this game is at Burg and Barrick is still the coach. Waverly will have to be on top of their game to get out of there with a win. Having said that if Waverly plays to their potential it isn't close.

Waverly needs to come out on fire early in this one.!! Burg may be losing games, but you know they are going to be hungry for an upset against the Tigers. You know the foul sitution isn't going to be nothing like it was at Valley. Im sure both teams will be in double bonus in the first and second half. Tigers need to keep knocking down those Free Throws they are going to needem in this game. I will go with DA Tigers 54 Burg 49

I understand this is "Burg", & I understand they're coached by Tom Barrick. But Burg is down, bad. I mean McBee is a tough guard, but he didnt even dominate the game at Waverly in JV. Sammy J is going to eat him alive, & we already saw that Bendolph cant guard sam, or stop him.Waverly Dominates this one from the tip, Tigers by at least 17.

The Tigers need to be confident going into this game but they cannot be over confident like your prediction Tiger4. The game is at Burg which does make a difference. Waverly beat the Burg at home earlier in the season but it was only by 5 (47-42).
If Waverly takes care of business and plays up to their ability they will win. If they come in over confident and not ready to play, Burg will be ready to steal one. The Tigers were not ready to play ball at Oak Hill and they lost. I know Oak Hill is a much better ball team (than Burg) and Waverly only lost by 2 but the fact remains they lost. YOU HAVE TO BE READY TO PLAY EACH AND EVERY NIGHT. The Tigers cannot overlook the Burg.

I like Waverly to pull this one out, they have a fine team with a couple nice athletes that will match up well with the Burg.

Easy big fella. The moment the Tigers go to burg and don't respect them, they will lose! And I bet several posters from many different schools will agree! I like the Tigers by 10-12

from what I am reading,it is the Burg posters that are saying they are not the team, they are used to putting on the floor.

but as a Portsmouth fan of many years,I can tell you, no matter how much they are down, when you go to their place, you better be ready for a game.

I think everybody believes the Burg is down a bit this year but on the other hand most don't discount the fact that teams like Waverly, Oak Hill, Portsmouth, South Webster, Ironton and a couple of others are putting better than average squads on the floor this year, too. You have to give those teams a lot of credit for playing some pretty tough basketball this year.

Burg might have had a let down against West last night, but they have never had a bad night against Waverly. Don't stay home, this will be a good game.
