The score isn't really indicative of the closeness of this game . Once again the Cat's allowed an out-manned opponent to hang close until late in the game . This trend will probably continue until the coaching staff can find the correct blend of players to put on the floor . At times they have 3 guards on the floor and only 1 who can score with any consistency . Those that can shoot from the outside have got to pick it up on the defensive end if they are to have any chance to continue winning games . They are now heading into the 2nd round of conference games and will be forced to prove they can shoot from outside as their opponents will be doubling and tripling on Ratliff .

Agreed although I don't think there is any consistency from outside. One game 1 will go 6 of 14 from the field then the next game go 2 for 9. I think opposing coaches say let them shoot it all they want from the perimeter. If one hits 2 in a row, apply a little pressure on him and that'll stop that. Just don't let them pass it down low. We are not what you would call fleet of foot so creating our own shot off the dribble is not a threat. It has taken the 2nd half of the last 4 games for the coaches to realize that pounding it down low is our only chance.

Was able to see Green for the first time a couple of games ago. I like the fact that Coach Blanton is not afraid to switch players until he finds the right combinations for that night. Would like to see the Defense improve, the players on the floor after the ball, and more consistant rebounding. All in all a huge improvement from last year for the "young cats".
