A strange, strange matchup of teams....but a HUGE matchup that could happen again in the tourney.

What is that about 95 miles for a Tuesday game?

South Point needs this game way more for seeding purposes....Zane Trace is far and away the #1 seed in Athens.

I'll guess South Point by 8

... should be a great contest between these two outstanding ball clubs ...Haynes/Maxwell for ZT vs Barnes/Prater/Winkler for SP... IF I told my wife I was doing a Tuesday evening road trip to the river she'd divorce me !!! LOL ... too bad this one wasn't at ZT would love to see it ...

Tripleheader or doubleheader?

Zane Trace might get back by the time school starts on Wednesday.

Doubleheader was announced by the ZT announcer at tonight's Zane Trace/Westfall game.

This is going to be an interesting game, nonetheless. ZT is on a roll since Gabe Haynes has rejoined the lineup. IF South Point is disciplined enough to run the game at their own pace, they could win. However, the last two Trace games have gotten out of hand early due to the incredible pace that the Pioneers play at. Slow them down, and the Pointers have a significant chance at pulling the upset (I guess it could be considered that).

And their losses are all to quality opponents, 3 of which was without one of their best players as a previous poster has said.

Zane Trace has 4 quality losses also.

1. Peebles (undefeated)(without Haynes)
2. Logan Elm (ranked #10 in D2)
3. Bloom Carroll (1st game of year without Haynes)
4. Piketon with Southworth.

Sounds like it will be a good one.

The refs were terrible tonight I mean whena kid gets smaked in the face and nothing is called plus when a South Point reserve player got upset on a foul call and walked away from the situation the ref followed him around trying to get him to say something.IMO this guy should not be able to ref again. But I am not makinn excuses cause the missed calls did not cost South Point the game but come on gatta call it.

South Point could not hit a shot in the second half. They were really off as a team in the shooting department. OH well hope next year the AD schedules this on a Sat. What were they thinking?A school night is not the night to have to travel so far! Maybe this is what the POinters need a wakeup call before the Peake game!

South Point booked one ref that was doing to south point,st.Joe championship monday night and he made some bad calls then and he thought we paid to watch him blow his whistle tonight. But again South Point played bad so the refs did not cost the game but it did make it worse.
