symmes valley by 7 in a close one. Or maybe Tibbs will put up 40+ like last year and it will be a blowout?

Since it is at Green, I am going cats by 5 in a close one. I have only seen the bobcats play once this year against Eastern. They didnt really impress me in that game, but they have been winning quite a bit lately after the game. I would like to see SV win this one to put everyone 3 games back behind Eastern, but I still say Green edges this one out.

I can't believe there is no talk or hype about this game. If Green wins, they are still right in the hunt with Eastern Pike for the title? Where are all of the Bobcat faithful?
Sure were on here last year when things were not so good??????????

I am a Vikings fan tonight. I agree with Tripledouble and would also like to see SV beat Green and place them 3 games back.
Let's go Tibbs....fire at will and fire for impact!

Agreed Hoogy. This may be the only time in my life where I was rooting for the Vikings!

I'm rooting for Green tonight. I didn't realize Green and Symmes Valley have not played at all this year. I am hoping Green can win tonight, and Symmes Valley can win at their place. A split would be the best outcome for the Eagles, in my opinion. Go Cats!

Doesn't Green have two losses and Symmes Valley 3? If this is accurate, I don't quite understand your logic. Just curious Beaverlover.

I'd be happy to explain my logic. If Symmes Valley and Green both lose to each other in away games, their losses would then be 4 and 3 respectively. If Symmes Valley beats Green twice, their losses would then be 3 and 4 respectively. I think Symmes Valley is a better team than Green, and I think the Eagles have a better chance of winning against Green than they do Symmes Valley. If Eastern absolutely has to win one game between the two teams, in a hypothetical situation, I would rather it be Green. I hope this helps. I didn't have a lot of time when I was writing this. I'll look back over it later and see if I need to add anything.
I changed a few things. The main point I was trying to make is that I want Green to be in second place, instead of Symmes Valley. I think Eastern has a better chance of beating Green.

That makes sense and I understand your reasoning. Let's just hope that Eastern wins tonight and against SV on Friday. Then we won't have to think about these scenarios. LOL
Sorry I addressed you as Beaverlover instead of Eagle eye.

SV won by 10 or so. I left with about 1 min. to go. Green still has no outside shooting presence and misses at least 10 lay-ups per game and can't hit free throws. SV shot the ball poorly tonight but they contained the inside game of the Cat's and forced them to shoot from 10' out. I said before the season that Green would have a very successful campaign if they won 8 games this year given they had NO COACHING the last 3 years and they have reached my goal. Anything more was just icing on the cake. This was a game Green could have won but SV did what they had to do to get the W. I can see only 1 or 2 more games that the Cat's have any chance winning the rest of the season but they are toss-ups. Congrats to the Vikings on their win tonight.

Symmes Valley 49 Green 39,
Green lead at the half 23-19 in the 2nd half the game with back and 4th
and with around the 4 minute mark Symmes Valley took the lead for good.
Cats had their chances but couldn't get it done. Congrats to the Vikings.
