Does the 1 seed still get a first round bye and if so who would they play in the sectional championship?

Has Adena dropped off that much in the last 2 years? I guess lossing players like Clay Roll and Logan Heuserman(I think I spelled that right) will do that to you.

I don't think any of the top seeds wants to play Northwest. Mr. Leslie might be the best player in the sectional.

Agree with Soccerfix on this one. Leslie is a phenomenal talent!

Off of records and guessing...
1 seed gets a bye and plays the 8/9 winner. Peebles play #8 N.A./#9 P.V.
2 seed gets a bye and plays the 7/10 winner. E.B. play #7Clay/#10 W.U.
3 seed gets a bye and plays the 6/11 winner. Piketon play #6 W.F./#11 Adena
4 and 5 seeds essentially get a bye and play each other. Only one win for the Sectional Championship. They will play the #1 seed out of Athens. #4 N.W. play #5 Hunt.
Does this seem close?

#1 Peebles : 1st round (bye) plays winner of #8 & #9
#2 Eastern Brown: 1st round (bye) plays winner of #7 & #10
#3 Piketon: 1st round (bye) plays winner of #6 & #11
#4 Huntington: 1st round (bye) plays #5
#5 Northwest: 1st round (bye) plays #4
#6 Westfall
#7 Lynchburg
#8 Paint Valley
#9 North Adams
#10 West Unio
#11 Adena
Piketon could be #2 if they win the next three games.
Paint Valley and Lynchburg could switch, depending on the voting.
Northwest could move to #4 with a couple of wins

Looks like we pretty much agree! #4/#5 doesn't matter anyway...could be either team. Obviously things could move a bit but I think this is pretty close.

Peebles, Piketon, and Eastern would all gladly play Northwest if they had to meet up. Peebles scrimmaged Northwest over the summer and absolutely ran circles around the mohawks. Hank Leslie is a good player and probably the best post man but by no means the most talented overall player in this sectional. Im sure Blake Justice, Andrew Seaman, Tyler Knabb, and Evan Legg would all disagree with you on that.

This is a very weak sectional. I dont know about anyone else, but I would not want to be the one seed here and have to play the 4 seed out of Jackson. The Jackson sectional is loaded. The 4 seed winner will likely be South Point, Portsmouth or Valley. All very dangerous teams. It is different also this year that if you get the 1-5 seed, you only have to win one game to get to districts.

Athens is a very weak sectional(The only real contender being Zane Trace). Peebles, Piketon, and Eastern Brown all could make a fairly deep run. I have faith in the Indians no matter who they have to play. They have already shown they can play agianst some of the best in the Southeast, if they want to make it past the district they will likely have to play a juggernaut anyway no matter what seed they get.
