Early Favorites for SHL P.O.Y

It seems like every other conference has put one up so I thought I would give some SHL fans the chance to chime in on who they think should win the award. My early favorite would be Blake Justice( His team is currently in first place in the SHL and ranked 7th in the state at 18-0 , he averages 24ppg., is soon to become Peebles' all time leading scorer , and has improved his defense and rebounding from last season). You could also make a case for Andrew Seaman, Blake Blevins, Chris Cox, Tyler Knabb, etc. If anyone agrees or would like to nominate another player please post your opinion.

Agree with Justice of Peebles. He is on the #1 SHL team and probably has the best overall stats. In the POY talk, he meets both expectations.

Hand it to Blake.

What about Andrew Seaman? Do not think that you can speak of POY without his name being mentioned.

Yes Andrew is deffinately in the hunt. He is the senior leader of the undefeated Indians and is averaging around 20pts per game.

We have an all league team but not quite sure on a POY, it is just an interesting topic for SHL fans to talk about.

Yes that would be pretty hard to remember due to the fact that I joined the beginning of Dec. 2009. I hadn't even heard of this site before November.

Who cares when joined and what he's been posting about. All he said was who he thought was the leading candidate for POY. Chill Sparky. Who peed in your cheerios?

Seems understandable to me that when a team is doing well the fans of that team would want to have more discussion about it. There were several NA fans on here a year ago. This year we talk more over on the girls forum. Just seems logical to me.
As for P O Y, I like Andrew Seaman. He does so many things well.

no player of the year, but justice and seaman will be one and two in voting. justice a better scorer but seaman seems to do more than just score. he gets points inside and out and on offensive rebounds. seems to play better defense. but they are by far the 2 best all around players in the league.
by the way i was just making an observation that whichever team is doing the best seems to have the most support on here.i remember a few years back that the eastern fans were all over the jjhuddle site. i guess they haven't found this site yet because they too are having a good season but not a lot of support here on seop.

Fans do mostly post on here when their team is doing well...no one wants to login and celebrate a loss...I'd like to give props to fans like Tarheelfan44, who comes on here and supports the Dragons, no matter what.

That being said, Go Duke.

Andrew Seaman, for his all around ability. He plays hard on both ends of the floor, EVERY night. He may not have the highest scoring average, but he can do so many things well. Justice is a great player. Smart, etc., but I believe Seaman may be the best ball player to come out of Peebles. Just my oinion. It is a toss up between him and Blake for POY. I just think Seaman's defense abilities, thrown in with his offense, puts him at the top of the pack.

All good points but I do think Blake has improved his defense and rebounding from last season.
