idk about that, but i think fairland needs to get the ball inside and bloomfield needs to drive the ball, i still havent seen anyone that can keep him from driving past them.

Can't remember the score but the dragons won by 15-20. Rv is a scrappy team with some good 3 pt shooters they shot very well from behind the arc. Boomer and boys took control early but let the Raiders back into it and I think they even led 31-29 but Fhs held on for a 6 pt lead at halftime. The dragons took control for good the 3rd qt. Good game by freshman Cody Midkiff off the bench I think he scored 7-9 pts. Hope the RV faithful a safe journey home.

PROCTORVILLE, Ohio -- Fairland moved its basketball record over .500 at 8-7 with Friday's 72-61 defeat of River Valley.

Evan Salyers led the Dragons with 18 points and also grabbed eight rebounds. Matt Bloomfield and Chad Fisher both scored 17.

Cody McAvena scored 10 for River Valley (3-9) and Cody Smith added 13.

RIVER VALLEY 14 12 10 25 -- 61: Burdette 3, Noble 4, McAvena 19, Hollingsworth 6, Harrison 8, Bryant 2, Peck 6, Smith 13.

FAIRLAND 21 12 23 16 -- 72: Baise 4, Bloomfield 17, Fisher 17, Riley 2, Holbrook 5, Midkiff 9, Salyers 18.

Pretty good game to watch RV got in foul trouble early and was hard to catch up they played hard all night, Fairland is really quick.... well at least Fisher and Bloomfield are.
