I know that this sounds like a funny question, but I'm really looking for those officials that you all think do a good job??

Officals that do a good job? Hmmm, depends on which side of the stands you are on, on that particular evening!!

Usually, the best officials are sitting in the stands. Just ask them.

Isn't that the same as asking, "Are there any honest politicians out there?" LOL

Personally, I commend ANY official that gets out there on the field/court and makes an HONEST attempt at calling a good game. My hat's off to them.

XandOs is (IMO) one of the good guys that I tip my hat to.....

No, politicians knowingly and intentionally screw us while most officials just make occasional HONEST errors.

Any official that is willing to commit there time and effort and calls it like they see it. What more could you ask for!

The best I have seen are the "Wellston Trio" John Derrow, Lowell Settles, and Bub Norris. They seem to call the game very well. That is coming from a Vinton County Viking. Norris's son is going to be a good one too. He refed a lot of our jr. high games the three years I coached the 7th grade boys.
Another Wellsonite quailty ref would be Garret Pugh.

I'll agree with Derrow.

The boys from Beaver are good and the one that doesn't ref anymore was really good.

Are there any fans who don't cry and whine every time there team gets called for a foul. I am sick of hearing how the Refs hosed this team or that team.

Nope. Never have been. Nor are any of my friends or relatives. I just appreciate it when i see a good citizen participating in community affairs and I don't care if he/she is doing it for the love of the kids, the love of the game, or just to make an extra buck for his family, I admire and support the effort.

According to most fans on here there teams never lose... always the refs fault.

HOOTIE BEST OFFICIAL IN SOUTHEAST OHIO. He should be doing district and regional games.

Evans, Swartzel (spelling sorry) John Derrow, Pat Tabler, Randy Hornsby, Lowell Settles are a few of the good ones.
