They play next Tuesday in the Sectional Final. Both coming off blowouts, Symmes Valley shot well and played physical, I have to go with Eastern.

I have a question for you 3. With SG entering the TVC next season why are you rooting for teams to beat teams who are in the TVC? Just asking.

Cause I grew up around the SV area and have alot of family that goes there.

Would be a good win for the Vikings and the SOC1 but Im thinking Reedsville in a close 1. Eagles by 3. Hope Im wrong and the Vikings get it done for the SOC.

Both teams are very evenly matched with both teams all about defence and both work hard and when they are hot they are hot this will come down to who wants it the most. I'm going to take the soc and say symmes valley in a tough fought close game.

I agree,real good match up.Eastern has great ball pressure,SV great rebounding,I really could
have seen sv being a 2 or 3 in this bracket.But i think its going to come down to the coaching,

I am pulling for Symmes valley (seems odd to say). The Vikings are tough in the paint and should have a big advantage there. If the Vikings take care of the ball, shoot a good percentage, and dominate the paint Reedsville will go home early!

No way Howzee takes a 19-1 team and loses in the sectional. Unless he gets double T'd and has to leave early. But like ole Mo said few refs have the stones to T Howzee one, let alone twice. He will out coach any coach in the SOC. Eastern by as many as Howzee wants them to win by.

Eastern will run away with this. The only chance SV has is if they coach turns into a screamer during this game. Thats the only way to counteract the Stomp of Howie Caadwell. It will take several close range blood currdling screams directly into the ear of the refs so they can no longer hear the stomp. The ear ringing is the only thing that can turn the tide away from the effects of the Stomper.

I am going with Symmes Valley in this one. According to the sectional program, Eastern's tallest players 6'. Is this correct? They must be really quick to have that good of a record for their size. I am just wandering who is gonna guard tibbs on that eastern squad. He may be to big and strong on the inside for the Eagles. If SV can manage to get through Eastern's pressure Defense, then they have a shot. Cause I don't think they will be able to stop Tibbs inside. Same goes for SV, they will have to be quick and stop the guard penetration from Eastern. With that being said, I'll take SV by 5.

Mikey Johnson and Titus Pierce shut down Guthrie from Trimble twice this season. They have been very good for Eastern inside. I dont see them having any trouble at all with Tibbs.
