i dont understand why the districts for d1,d2,d3 start friday and d4 sectionals are next week.also some of the games are on sunday,i am not against playing on sundays but its not like they have been snowed out and have to make it up.

district semi finals r not split sessions.......... i not sure about district finals. each finals might be split by divisions

The games that were scheduled for Saturday and Sunday have been moved around...
The schedule for Saturday 3/6:
Girls D-III District Finals
11:00am- Oak Hill v. Adena
1:00pm- North Adams v. Alexander
3:00pm- ZT/'Burg winner v. Ironton/Lynchburg winner (These games will be played Monday night at Waverly)
Girls D-II District Final
5:00pm- Greenfield v. Miami Trace
Boys D-III District Semi-finals
7:30pm- Wheelersburg v. Belpre
9:15 pm- Alexander v. Eastern Brown

Wasn't given a reason yet....We (North Adams Girls) had to play our District Semi-final game as a makeup from yesterday....As we left, they told us changes had been made at the meeting today, but they did not have the information.

The First Round Games of the MAC Tourney (Sunday, March 7) are always home games for the higher seeds.
Only the Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and Finals are in Cleveland.
Likewise, the Women's Tourney will have home games for the higher seeds on Saturday, March 6.
The top 4 seeds receive Byes into the Quarterfinals.
Seeds 5, 6, 7, and 8 have home first-round tourney games and host seeds 12, 11, 10, and 9 respectively.
If OU is a 5, 6, 7, or 8 seed in either men's or women's basketball, there will be a first-round MAC tourney game at the Convo.

... sure going to miss the usual Saturday ALL day hoops Marathon at the Convo this season... more trips to Atown but fewer games at any one sitting it would appear ...

More trips to Athens for me. I'll be going up saturday for the two boy's games then again sunday for the next two

There are six games there on the 6th, 4 girls, then 2 boys games. Since there is a 2.5 hr gap between the last girls and the first boys game, does that mean they are split sessions and I'll have to buy two tickets, or is the 2.5 hrs just to get back closer to being on schedule in case they fall behind?
