Jeeps by 7. Which would also mean an undefeated road game streak.

If Webster wins Tuesday night, I wouldn't play Scott or Loop (or the rest of the starters for that matter) too much in this makeup game. Would hate to see them injured in a game that doesn't mean much. Oak Hill will probably be a little salty after having their season end without getting out of Sectionals.*

Unless I missed something somewhere, I assume Green and South Webster are not going to make up their scheduled game?
Thanks for any information on this

Are they really going to make this game up?!?! I know that it can determine second place in the SOC II but if I were Coach Ater I would fear that the Jeeps may suffer a few injuries after watching the Oak Hill/Waverly game. Maybe South Webster could pay Oak Hill the average amount Oak Hill made at the gate this year?

All league games have to be made up. It doesnt matter if the game means anything or not. That is league policy and I think both schools would have to pay fines if it is not made up. It is not a matter of gate money for Oak HIll.

Oak Hill also has the opportunity to finish their second season in a row with a win. Not many teams do that.

league games do not have to be made up- at least not in spring sports- i have never heard of any fines or anything like that either. Where did you hear that league basketball games had to be made up- i remember many girls basketball games not being made up in the past few years. If i were south webster i wouldnt play anyone either- they have nothing to play for- who cares who gets anything in the league- its tourney time that matters. there probably wont be a handful of people that care much about the outcome of this game.

I agree with bucki4life. Who cares who gets 2nd place? Why would South Webster risk getting a kid hurt? Oak Hill is done (League Title and out of the tourny), so what would they be playing for other than to add some numbers to your stats? Meaningless game.

As already mentioned, the league requires league games to be made up. Assuming Oak Hill wins, they would finish with their first ever 20-0 regular season...it is a big deal.

its not an actual undefeated season though
i mean sure the team had to forfeit or whatever that crap was but they still lost the ball game on the court
dont mean as much unless you really win the games on the court

I think some of you guys have been away from the game too long. Did you join a basketball team to not play a basketball game or to try to win a basketball game. If there was a game to be played we always played. We played for that game whether it meant something or not because we joined the team because we liked to play ball.
