what style of ball does chesapeake play?

Davisball.

I will take Chesapeake, I still think when they are on they are best team in the area.

... will Southworth be back in uniform for Piketon ?

Rumor has it He would be back for district finals...

Don't overlook piketon. They will bite you if you do.

They have a pretty good half court offense and defense. And they have a pretty good uptempo offense and defense. Its hard to say how this will play out. Just being a fan of the OVC i will take the peake by 7.15 points. The .15 is for the price of the food at the concession stand.

'Peake in the game vs. South Point slowed the game WAAYYYYY down. I don't really know if this will help or hurt Piketon. I know the 'Streaks will try to get out and run and play the full court press that was so effective against West Union. 'Peake has the ball handlers to break it tho. So it will be interesing. I still think the 'Streaks have too much firepower tho and get the W and moving on to the District Finals. Also, they are playing to get Southworth back as well, so that will elevate their game too. But on the flip side of that, would you think that messes up the chemistry tho? He has been practicing, so that will help some but still it's nothing like a game. It will be fun to see what plays out but I still think Piketon takes this one.

Chesapeake is very solid and probably have one of the best starting 5's around. This game will be decided by tempo. If it is an all out trackmeet..the advantage goes to the Streaks. If Chesapeake gets out in the break, but runs their offense when they don't get a transition bucket, then I give the advantage to them.

The Peake have alot of size and good shooters. The Streaks have played good ball without Southworth for much of the season. Should be a battle.

Peake by 12.

I'm going with the Streaks in this one. If they can force Chesapeake to play their style up uptempo basketball, I'll take Piketon by 8.

I think this should be the best game of the district tournament this year!Too close to call!

it will come down to who can control the tempo ... chesapeake proved against south point that they can run their offense for 1-2 minutes at a time, which killed south point ... but if you get the tempo going a bit i can see hintz getting out of control even though he is a very fast guard ... I think peake makes the adjustments necessary to win this one. Piketon had better be able to get out on shooters though or this could get ugly, if Copley and McMasters get hot.
