Who will have the best following to Athens?

Alright, now that the district games are set, who do you think will bring the largest following to Athens? I remember McClain had a HUGE one when Jackson played there.

Piketon VS Peake should have a nice crowd. Both seem to have great community support. I'm looking forward to two great games Sunday evening.

I know most of Lucasville will be there.....they made the trip to cleveland earlier in the year..

I would think Nelsonville-York will have a decent crowd considering that it is 12 miles down the road and the Buckeyes first trip since 1998.

The Burg always bring a great crowd to the games and I don't see this one being any different.

I heard the Chesapeake fans will be taking apache helicopters in....just kidding. They will be out in force. Pretty close but i think they outnumbered SP fans this weekend. I was on SP side but just because it wasnt as crowded when I walked in. ahahaha

After growing up in Athens and attending games at the Convo for nearly 18 years now ... I would have to say 'overall' the PURPLE of Cheaspake seem to fill their corner of the Convo consistently. Perhaps its because of their tradition and great success, but for whatever reason, they bring a lot of folks to Athens on a regular basis.

Lately: LOGAN ELM is creeping up their with their 'SEA OF RED.'

IRONTON - WOULD BRING A LOT OF PEOPLE EVEN IF IT WERE THE STATE BADMITTEN CHAMPIONSHIP ... AS LONG AS THE TIGERS WERE IN IT ...LOL

PIKETON BROUGHT A PRETTY BIG CROWD A FEW YEARS BACK AND I IMAGINE THEY WILL DO IT AGAIN THIS YEAR ...

THE BURG WILL COVER THEIR CORNER, I HAVE NO DOUBT ABOUT THAT ... BETWEEN THEM & BELPRE PLAYING THAT 7:00 GAME - THE ENTIRE CONVO WILL BE SWAMPED IN ORANGE ...

(ALL THE SCHOOLS, THE PEOPLE, FANS, SCHOOL COLORS IS WHAT MAKES THE CONVO SUCH A FUN PLACE TO BE IN MARCH - THE ATMOSPHERE IS 2ND TO NONE IMO ... NOW I LOVE FOOTBALL, BUT ITS SOOOOO WARM & COZY IN THE CONVO AS OPPOSED TO FREEZING YOUR REAR END OFF IN THE BLEACHERS!)

I would think most of Pike County will be there for Waverly on Friday. They have not been to convo for Districts since the 02/03 season with Miller and Co.

Piketon had a very strong crowd last year through the entire tourney. Seems every game a team wins the more people show up to see them play(fair weather fans). Good luck to all teams....Go Redstreaks!!!!
