Did coaches side with LaFon or did everyone believe Kochendorfer deserved it over Ondera.....should've been co POY at worst for Ondera IMO.

No Horne from Portsmouth, Utley or Yates from Valley, or Leslie from Northwest, Stegman or Bendolph from Wheelersburg. How did the SOC get shutout excluding Oak Hill with so many teams advancing? This has to be a joke or a conspiracy.

Wheelersburg, Portsmouth, Valley, Northwest, etc. are not in District 13.

They are in District 14.

Am I the only person who thought that it was ridiculous that Ethan Prater only got Special mention?

How did a 4-11 ISJ get 5 players and the teams with better records only got 3 and 4? Wow the coach at ISJ should be on the hot seat with 5 all district players and a 4-11 record.

All the post season awards seem watered down so much. It shouldn't have a darn thing to do with a coach.

I've been to district track and field meetings and was asked my choice on POY and I chose the girl with the highest finish at the state meet and the district champion in 2 events...but 2 of the more tenured coaches said....no let's vote for someone who's coach has paid their dues and is in attendance. It wasn't an award called POYFATWCIHT (player of the year for a team whose coach is here tonight)



Why can't coaches just do what is right when awarding things?

How is one of the best point guards in District 13 not on this list? Matt Bloomfield brings more to the table then anyone else in this area, Speed, athletic ability, leadership, and most importantly coachable. I think the Fairland coaching staff may have missed the boat by not making sure he made the team. Please don’t give me the excuse that the other coaches in the district didn’t help him out. Fairland’s coaches could have made this happen I am sure. Now this young man will not have the opportunity to play in the District 13 All-Star game. For a player that has played in as many games as he has played in this is a complete travesty. Matt was a three year starter for the Dragons and played a huge roll in this team making it to the Regional’s when he was a sophomore so again how is this player not on this list. Matt I am happy that I have had the opportunity to set in the stands at Fairland games and watch you mature into a great player, and I wished that your coaching staff had the same views that I have but I guess not, but my opinion and two bucks can get you a school lunch tomorrow.

This kid is outstanding and should have made first team or second team at a minimum.
