I'd have to think it'll be Manchester and Peebles winning the most games overall (based on who they're returning), though I'm not sure about what every team has in the system coming up. Knabb from Eastern is graduating, yes? Fairfield has Cox returning, but their guard play needs to step up.

Peebles is losing one of its all-time best players in Andrew Seaman, along with Nathan Stephens and Eric Collier. They have a lot of freshmen and JV talent coming up and return Blake Justice, Tyler McFarland, and Trent Arey. Plus I think the whole program lost what, 6 combined games?

North Adams loses Sam Louden and one of the Dollichs, I believe.

Manchester's Blevins is returning, along with who else?

Who are the other SHL teams returning/what's coming up?

Jchitwood,
You may want to add Andy Countryman to your list of key player's returning for the Indians of Peebles.

Eastern will also be returning a lot: Payne, Lawson, Purdin, Stout, Doss-all young guards but all with tons of contributing varsity minutes this past year. Combine this with the fact that they have a coach who always seems to get it done whether it's getting a big man or two to step-up from nowhere and play tough nosed or the fact that every athlete will buy in to the program or will not play. I feel Eastern will be a force in the SHL once again.

North Adams loses Zach Dollich, Sam Louden, Nick Latham, James Herbert, Dillon Davis, and Britt Rothwell. Only returning players who saw much time this year will be Drew Dollich, Sheridan Carrol and Chris King.

Probably be another poor season for North Adams if that's all they have.

Depends on how players develope over the summer. Kraig Unger made a huge jump from his freshman to sophomore year. I don't expect either of the freshman to make the kind of improvement that Unger did just due to the physical skills Kraig had but I do expect them to get better especially King. I think he can be a really good player for NA and they really need someone to complement Drew Dollich who will be their main scorer next season. NA will lack varsity experience and size but they do still have one of the best coaching staffs around and I'm sure they will get the most out of the players they have next year.

Definitely hard to make an accurate prediction unless you go a lot of open gyms and see how younger players develop. Summertime is when you hear endless theorizing about how much a given kid is going to grow...based upon genes, hand size, leg hair thickness, diet, vaccinations, foot size, dental records, how good of a ball players his mother's father was in the 1960s...we'll find anything to talk about, waiting for basketball season to start. :)

West Union is losing seven seniors and will be a young ball club next season.

That's pretty good chitwood, but you forgot one major thing. How many games they one in Jr. High!! I love it when people say, they never lost a game in 8th grade, maybe we need to bring that coach up? lol
