No, Coach Combs is a confident but humble man. I would imagine that past coaches, Eldridge and Royster, would be vehement in their pursuit for such a honor.

Razor, have you taken a good look at Coach Combs lately? Picasso couldn't even come close to painting that freakin mug on a gym floor. Plus, I don't see Coach Combs ever trying to draw attention to himself or his successes. He's always been about the kids and getting better. You know, and everythang!

I like the new gym floor. The pics look great. A wonderful story of a separated county district that came together through consolidation many years ago and now has worked hard, as a group, to have a very successful boys basketball program. I just sincerely hope things stay that way.

I heard that there will be new scoreboards too...is this true?

Also, with Combs beings hands down the best coach in VC history and possibly TVC history...why not at least name the floor after him?

VC has no name for its gym, baseball or football fields..I think its time we come up with some!

I personally think the basketball headed viking on the top of the page should be on the court.

In all seriousness, nice looking floor. Pays good homage to the namesake of the school.
