Taking a page of what Humpty Hitchens did before his senoir season.Jalen Ragland SG/SF has commited to play basketball at UTEP(University Texas El-Paso). Not sure of any other details....Congrats on hopefully a great senoir season and the future! The kid and his family is a class act! Go Cavs!

Congratulations Jaylen Ragland on your full ride scholarship to play big time basketball at UTEP. UTEP is in the Conference USA with teams like Memphis, Houston, Tulane, UAB, and Southern Miss to name just a few. UTEP beat out All of those teams last year to win the CUSA with a record of 15-1, 26-7 overall before losing in the tournament to Butler. We all know how Butler fared in the tourney.

Some great BBALL players have came from this school including Tim "crossover" Hardaway and "Tiny" Nate Archibold.

I am excited for Jay! It may be hot down in the desert but there is nearly no humidity which makes it Nice.

The sky is the limit for you Jay. Just keep working hard and great things will happen.

I hope you can lead the Chillicothe Cavs to another State Championship before heading off to UTEP to play Conference USA Basketball!

We scrimmaged Chillicothe each of the last two years and this kid is a big time player. Wish him all the luck.

Congratulations to this young man. It truly shows how much hard work pays off. I had heard Jaylen had somewhat flew under the radar until this summer where he was a definate force in some aau tourneys. Great Job! Hopefully other local athletes see what hard work can do.
