Have a good chance. Have the biggest starting lineup around i would guess. 6'7, 6'6, 6'4, 6'3 and then throw the point guard in. And they can all shoot inside and out. I think the competition will be tougher tho. But with a few good breaks I think they can do it. (And for anyone going to second guess those measurements, they were estimates....but very close). They also have more depth this year. Can play more than 6 players!

Mcmaster is 6'5", maybe. copely is 6'1" AT BEST. Still, both great players. I Look for them to go 17-3 this year with a run into the regionals and with some luck, another state tourney appearance.

How did the scrimmage with Vinton County and Columbus Academy go?

Vinton County won the first quarter, and then Chesapeake won the next three. I believe Chesapeake won every quarter vs Columbus Academy. Chesapeake looks like an excellent team.

I was at the Vinton County games sat.,and i must say the Panthers looked very good for a week of practice. 5-2-1 As far as the Kennedy kid ability as a team player was answer during the scrimmage, along with Colin Kennedy played extremly well ,as did all the panther players .

I was at that scrimage too. Chessy is loaded, they're gonna go deep, real deep in the tourney. They still got some cheimstry issues on the point guard front to overcome, but if these kids buy into Coach Davis's system they'll be ready. Good luck to Ryan, the kids, and the entire Panther program.

I dug this schedule up while looking through a school calendar because it seems to be the only place in the world to get their schedule.
If that date is an error, a lot of others may be too. :122249

Wow that was a very un-educated statement. This years Peake sched is pretty ruff! I mean they play Columbus Africentric, Ironton, Wheelersburg, who know who will be at the Marietta Tournament but im sure if the Peake is willing to go there for a game it will be no slouch, i believe they play a good Piketon team at the beast of the Southeast and then i here they will face off against WV State Champions the Logan Wildcats at the Huntington Prep Tournament. 20-0 would be great for the community, school, players, and coaches. As bad as i would love to see it we all know it is a cut-throat world and on anygiven night anybody can beat anybody. So the feat of 20-0 regular season i dont see it happening and i dont think Davis does either! Common man be a realist!
