Well its that time of year again. Warren should have a good shot of makng a deep run in the not only the SEOAL but also the post season. Warren returns 7 varsity players from last years district runner-up squad. The team looked good at last nights scrimmage vs Nelsonville york, and should be ready to start the season Dec.4 against Meigs. What do the rest of you think?

Warren roster
Cunningham Sr.
Hilverdihg Sr.
Mitchem Sr.
Venham Sr.
Hastie Jr.
Henthorn Jr.
Knost Jr.
Proctor Jr.
Ward Jr.
Windland Jr.
Leffingwell So.
French Fr.
This group has been together for a long time. Good chemistry, can mix and match with the depth. If everybody will let coach Maddox and his staff run this group as need be the Warriors will go far. Just get on the wagon and ride!!!!

Hello Happytown! :aaaaa39
Its that time of year and cant wait to get started. Unfortunately I wont be able to make any away trips due to my condition and driving isnt the best thing for me, but I due have a few friends who are going to help me out and keep me posted.
So whats instore for this year : Well from what the roster looks like, A couple of new players and have heard that a freshman and a non-player from last year are making the journey.
And if I remember correctly, a couple of players are already suspect to play at this level? So I would say that the Warriors are not deep at all after you get past a few main players they have.(opinion) 2 of the seniors def have what it takes and could help this team go far if they play as a group and be leaders. The boys coming up from JV last year should make for a strong 7 but really need to see what kind of bench there is after that. So for now we will just sit and watch this great soap opera develop and listen to all the great people in Happytown USA.
Goodluck Warriors and cant wait to give out the WARRIOR C C awards this year.
The sun comes out tomorrow

Patton is not far behind French....they have different strengths but both have great potential.....both of these kids may well be contributing at the Varsity level by February....its exciting to see all the talent Warren has coming at each grade level.....

Who is the best French or Patton? I say both, athletic, unselfish, and very coachable they complement each other. Playing time at this level is all they need. Look for coach Duckworth to have another good year with the JV team. This JV team had a very successful summer going unbeaten at the Huggin's camp and won the Parkersburg summer league. Great bunch of young men coming up.

I can't wait to see us playin uniform. ( It changes things a little) I don't know if we are going without an offense this year, or If we just get alot of open looks on the first or second pass. Was a little scared that Cunningham may have tweeked that ankle again when he walked off the floor in the first quarter, but I think he's ok.

Was a good scrimmage against a good Fairfield Union team that had most of their team back from last year. Ward, Henthorn and Frenchie played really well the second quarter. Knost scared me! He needs to get that ankle healed up. As a team, a little rust to be knocked off yet before the first tip off. Happy Thanksgiving everyone. GO WARRIORS

I know Chilly has the players to win the league, but I think Warren has the "team" to win it all this year if the Warriors don't have any injuries.

I think it's gonna be one heck of a battle every time Portsmouth/Warren, Warren/Chillicothe and Chillicothe/Portsmouth match up. Jackson is going to be solid again I believe and Gallipolis is going to be much improved I believe. But those 3 three teams I fore mentioned I believe is going to be the cream of the league.

Warren is a well coached team and if they can stay away from the injury bug then they should contend for the league title.

In order for Warren to have a successful season , they must find a leader on the floor. I believe the Warriors have enough talent to contend for a conference title and Maddox is one of the top coaches in SEO. Warren has put competative teams on the floor for some time. I do think that Brandon Fivecoat will be missed in the sense that he brought a workmanlike attititude to the court every night, I am not sure we have that grit it takes to be a champ.......I hope I am wrong!!!!.........Good Luck to all of WARRIOR NATION
