With football season officially over what happens on the hardwood? My predictions:
1. Sheridan-won 15 ball games last year and should have beaten VC in the tourny despite not having best player and point guard due to injury, he missed the last six ball games. They didn't lose anyone at all and picked up 6'6 soph guard matt freville who will help them off the bench. New coach greg booth has a lot to work with, very athletic.
Pg-6'2 sr Anthony Crane-returning all league/district despite missing nearly half the season.
G-6'2 sr Troy Sweeney-three year varsity starter
G-6'3 sr CJ Myers-Freakish athlete and returning starter
F-6'3 jr Jacob Horsley-Amazing athlete, avg 17 ppg as a soph
F-6'6 sr Josh Busby-Big boy, rebounds/defends/good role player
Bench:
Matt Freville-6'6 soph guard-Outstanding player
Tyler Snider-6'3 senior forward-strong role player
Derek Mattis-6'2 senior guard/forward-excellent shooter
Seth Helser-5'11 junior forward-good role player
2. Maysville-returns a nice group, talented but not very deep.
Landon Israel-sr pg 5'11
Ryan Cooper-sr g 5'11
Seth Brown-Jr g 6'1
Justin Wilson-so forward 6'4
JC Murasky-sr forward 6'8
Bryce Sidwell-jr guard 6'2
3.Tri-Valley-Well coached, big school
Matt Schley-sr pg
Brian Schley-sr g
Casey Williams-sr g
Rhys Jonard-sr f
Max Kilgore-sr f
Tanner Garber-sr g
4. John Glenn-returning player of the year, well coached
Jake Heagen-6'4 sr-signed with Findlay
Lane Crawford-6'3 sr
Heath Dodson-6'2 sr
some solid role players- will compete near the top.
5. West M-two nice returning players
Jordan Wilson-sr guard-athlete, good player when under control
Don Click-sr forward 6'6-great athlete-can get out of control
-Have a few nice role players, no depth and horrible at the lower levels
6. New Lex-have a few nice players returning
Sr G Aaron Wollenberg
Sr G Jacob Cozad
Jr G KJ Hook
Jr G/F Jacob Martin
Sr F Justice Ardetto
Jr F Broc Ryan
So G EJ Kunkler
7. Crooksville-good new coach, young but talented roster
Caleb Jago-so pg
Lake Channel-so g
Dakota Jones-so g
Mitchell Swingle-so f
Brody Payton-jr f
Bring Keylor/Marti/Dickerson and a few others off the bench. This team could suprise some people.
8. Morgan-New coach, one very good player and not much else
Teddy Vynalek can play, a few role players with him and thats about it.
9. Philo-Graduated several off of one of the worst varsity teams I've seen in some time. JV team was horrible and so was frosh team last season. Incoming frosh won the league but still lost 4 league games, they have a few nice players and rumor has it atleast three of them will be varsity starters this season. 0-21 is a stong possibility.
*I think the league race is Sheridan with a possible challenge from JG/TV/MV. ranked these teams in order of returning talent, honestly feel that Maysville will end up in 4th with Tv/Jg battling it out behind Sheridan. West/NL/CV could finish after those four in any order with Morgan and Philo battling it out for last place.

Troy Wolfe-CV-Long time Sheridan reserve coach-1st year
Greg Booth-SH-3 seasons as Sheridan reserve girls coach-1st year
Jay Brown-MO-background as an assistant near Dayton at several levels. 1st year
