Didn't get to go to the game against Central. Sounded like a pretty good game though. I believe Morris led the Skins in scoring with around 15 or so, with 7 or 8 boards, and 5 blocks. Kinchen led the Seminoles in scoring. Caldwell's next game is home against Beallsville on Tuesday.

Central/Caldwell score was 52-46. Central led 14-8 after one, Caldwell 29-28 at half, central 36-35 at the end of three. Game went all the way down to the closing seconds, central hit a big three with about two minutes to go that put them up five. Very entertaining game. Central is very big and athletic. Caldwell's pressure forced several turnovers by the seminoles, especially in the big second quarter. Good luck to both teams.

Caldwell gets first win of the year over Beallsville 77-60. It was a 20 point game for most of the second half. Beallsville led 18-10 at the end of one but it swung the other way from there. Eli Svercek led all scorers with 17 points while all 7 players in the Caldwell rotation scored atleast 8. Good first win for the Redskins. Caldwell hosts Barnsville Saturday evening.

Sounds like Caldwell was in another great game. Didn't get to see it, but from what I read it was pretty close the entire game. Caldwell went on a run to end the game and secure the victory. Shot really well, going 14 of 25 from 3 point range.

FF 20 turnovers, lights out from the field: 20 of 27
River 10 turnovers, hot in the first quarter and half of the second shooting-wise. Free throws doomed the Pilots in the 4th qtr., especially when they missed the front end of a one and bonus and went 1 of 2 on two other opportunities in the final 2:30. Also had a player control foul called with the score tied at 52 in the final 15 seconds. It was the correct call. River had one last chance, but could not get the ball to the designated shooter for a 3.
Ball handling did not beat the Pilots. Missed opportunities, a few defensive lapses that ended up being easy buckets for the Cadets, a shooting touch that went away with some suspect shot selection at times- those are the "little" things that will get you beat in a one possession game. That's what happenend to River.
All in all, both the Cadets and the Pilots looked very good. Both are much, much better than last year when each finished a game or so below .500. Both teams have multiple players with high skill levels and knowledge of the game. It would be a surprise if these two don't have a huge say in who wins the PVC.
Props to FF for getting a big road win in the conference.

River is legit. They have 4 Sr scorers in Tucker Brown,Zack Wax,Sammy Ramiser, and Jordon Potts.I see them as a top team in Pvc.I do doubt that the game in Beverly will be as close though.

Re: PVC Schedules, Results, and Standings 2010-11
Caldwell is slowly coming along. I'm not so quick to label them a "bad" team as others. Hell, they've only played 4 games so far this year, and have a better record than a few other PVC teams. New coach, new players, first road game. I'm sure they'll have their little bumps and stumbles along through the season, losing or not performing as well in some games like they should. Not taking anything away from Buckeye Trail, because they may in fact be better than Caldwell, but I don't know if they're THAT much better.
Re: PVC Schedules, Results, and Standings 2010-11
Wish I could've seen that River-FF game. Must've been a thrilling finish.
Do the Pilots have any size? Thought all they had were guards.
Fort Frye is always tough in roundball.

River has 2 big kids in 42 and 10 both like 6-5.They weren't very good scorers but they set tons of picks and rebounded.
