Eagles come off a win over SOC2 Minford. Not sure what Valley has done? I heard the Eagles played Valley tough in a foundation scrimmage and lost by 2 points at home. Who wins this one?

Valley lost to Bloom Carrol 65-55, and I believe they lost a close on up @ South Point...

This will be a tough one for my Eagles. Yates will be a tough cover for the Eagles. As he will be for anyone. Valley by 7. I hope Im wrong this would be a great win for the Eagles on the road. Good luck boys go win this 1 that will surprise some people.

Agree Mr. Bird. This will be a tough one for the Eagles. If they can pull it off it would be a huge win!

I see this game resting on two things. How well the post guys play for Eastern and if they can contain Yates and not let him go off for 20+. The eagles guard play is their strength, if the post players can match their intensity and play hit the boards hard I can see the Eagles pulling this out. If not Valley will win by around 10. I'll go Eagles by 4.

I believe it ended up 94-60. Valley looked pretty good. Solid minutes from a lot of kids, but tonight was all about Eastern's inability to stop Mr. Yates. Blake had, I believe, 7 threes and finished with 43 points. He had 6 assists at the half and may have finished with 10. Valley went 9-10 deep and their pressure really got to the Eagles. Eastern tried to extend pressure on Yates and he picked it apart and found guys for opening looks all night. Great minutes tonight from Luke Keller and Will Howard. Those two had very solid floor games for the Indians. This one was tied 17-17 after one and Valley dominated from there. Still a lot of work to do to get ready for Waverly on Friday.

19-19 after the first 45-30 at half. Final 94-60. If anyone knows how many the Yates kid had please post it. He looks improved from last year, has a very quick first step and Eastern had noone that could handle him.

Yates had to be close to a triple double... Does anyone know the exact numbers?

Along with Howard and Keller, I thought Rob Dwyer played a very good game for the Indians. It seemed like he blocked or influenced every shot in the paint after the 2nd quarter.

waverly will be a tough opponent for the Indians but I think Yates is an amazing player, and I also hear he's a hardcore football player??? Jake Kretzer is Too Amazing.....Keep your head up EAGLES!

The Eagles will be fine......nothing like a 34 point loss to humble a team and light a spark!

Too much basketball remaining to re-live this or to allow it to get you down. Coach Fitch will have the boys ready to play and I am sure that he was able to find many things to work on after this game. Hang in there boys and continue to work.

How long did Yates stay in this game? I'd say, if they won by thirty plus, he probably didn't play much in the fourth did he?
