Green really played well. Competed with Minford physically which has not always been the case with the Bobcats. Really nice game from McCloud with points early and half dozen big rebounds in the 4th quarter and nice floor games from Pierce and Hughes. Nice job Cats!

Is Minford the Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde of basketball this year. They lose to Eastern, Valley kills Eastern, Minford beats Valley, Minford loses to Green. No disrespect to Green,this is a great win for them, I have heard they are lightning quick, but Minford seems to be all over the spectrum.

Definitely a crazy year so far, but I actually enjoy this type of season. On any given night another team can beat another.

Dont know where this game was played but I know in past years green was a 20 point better team at Franklin Furnace. The visiting teams always seemed to have unforced turnovers and commit unusual personal fouls, especially in close games. LOL

Game was at Franklin Furnace.
Vere well played ball game by both clubs.
It was a 2 to 3 point ball game all the way until the last couple of minutes.
Minford was behind & started fouling, Green hit their free throws.
Green was impressive & may suprise a few teams this season.

That is kinda strange....two years ago we played Green at Peebles and beat them by 44..last season we played at Green(with a better team than we had a year before) and only beat them by 13 with the game being really close till the very end. They must just be comfortable playing in that little gym.

Green's gym isn't small it has lots a room under both the baskets enough room and on the sides. The last years Green game with Peebles was the best they play all year the way they shoud have played all year.

I just thought it seemed a bit small. They definately suprised me in that one though...they looked like a completely different team then we went up against the season before.

Thats because they have a new and better coach now coach blanton was not coaching them the year before. He is turning their program around.
