The Portsmouth Trojans are participating in a KSA tournament at Disney World. Our first game has been moved to Tuesday around 12:00 against Pace High School from Florida. We are currently waiting to board our flight in Columbus, but the weather is causing delays. I will post after our games and give statistics. If anyone has questions or would like more information please don't hesitate to ask. Thank you for all your support.

Once team got settled in last night we boarded a bus around 8:30 and went to Jostens Center, which is right next to the Atlanta Braves spring training facility, for practice and shoot around. After shoot around we headed back to rooms for video games and lights out.

Team just finished eating breakfast and we are going over to watch Los Alamitos, Calif., which is the team we could play tomorrow morning. After the game the team is headed to Universal Studios for a day of roller coasters. The 30 foot rim at Disney's All Star resort is right outside our door, from the third floor balcony it's nothing but a free throw.

how do HS teams fund trips that require 20 or so airline tickets, 5 nights hotels, 3 meals a day etc etc ? Got to cost 25-35 K . not picking out PHS because lots of schools do this --how is it appropriated ?

The Trojans are returning from Universal Studios and preparing for Pace. Melbourne Fl. Had to drop out of our bracket due to a team situation. (Something happened to a player or a parent of a player before they arrived at the tournament.) They have been replaced by a Treasure Coast High School out of Florida. Treasure Coast will play Los Alamitos at 12:15 tomorrow. The winners and losers of our game and the L.A. vs. T.C. play each other on Wednesday morning. This tournament is run so well it's unbelivable. They are able to bring teams in at the last minute and move teams around to fulfill the three game guarantee.

Tobias I'm not sure about radio feeds on the Internet, but I do know there are no television broadcast. We are able to watch them on closed circuit and they do a sportscenter type broadcast of daily highlights. I will check on radio feed tomorrow before our game.

About time for lights out, breakfast at 8:30, and game at 12:45.

8:30 wake up call, the Trojans went to eat breakfast, and just returned to their rooms. We will be getting dressed for the game here at the hotel and then head over to the Josten's Center. Tip-off time is 12:15. I will check on radio feed when I get over there.

Thanks, Coach for the updates.......I looked up Treasure Coast on Max Preps........there is no record listed for the team........it is a Christian Academy which is classified in the Freelance Division of Florida.......many of the schools in that division are Christian Academies.

I hope our kids play a good game and stay injury free........GO TROJANS!!
