This season's holiday tourny is about to get underway and I would like everyone's opinions on how things will shake out. Will Peebles run the table in the boy's tournys(Varsity+JV) again this season or will Manchester, North Adams, or West Union take one or both of the crowns? Anyone got any info on Manchester's, NA's, and WU's JV teams?

Varsity Matchups(At Manchester):

12/27-North Adams(2-1) vs. West Union(1-3)

12/28-Peebles(4-0) vs. Manchester(3-1)

12/29-Consolation Game(Losers of first two games)

12/30-Championship game(Winners of first two games)

2nd best team gets 3rd??

It seems like its gonna work out that way this year. Same thing happened two years ago when Peebles and North Adams matched up.

Girls game starts at 6 with the guys game following.

Peebles JV(guys and girls) both came away with BIG wins today against Manchester. North Adams JV boys beat WU JV boys big in the earlier game.

I would have to say North Adams wins this one for sure as they seem to be playing good ball right now.

When exacty was the last time Manchester won the tourney? North Adams has owned on it for a while and it seems Peebles is gonna do the same now

Not the first time it's happened. Matchups and location of the game are rotated every year. Just the way it worked out this year. To be the best you have to beat the best be it the first round or championship.

Congratulations to the Greyhounds on their win in what sounded like one of the best high school basketball games in recent memory. Blake Justice did everything he could with over 40 points but Blevins and company rode out the storm and came away with the win.
Looks like a Manchester vs North Adams on championship night in both boys and girls.

Sorry Sparky, don't have many stats other than it was a 2 point win for Manchester. Justice scored 42 while Blake Blevins was player of the game with I think 27 but it sounded like he had a bunch of rebounds and assists. Justice also had a bunch of assists. I'll let others provide the specifics but on radio it sounded like a heckuva game.

67-65 Manchester over Peebles. Blake Blevins with 26 pts and Travis Combs with 16 pts to pace the victors. Blake Justice with 42 points (13 three pointers.) The kid was just unconcsious shooting the basketball. A great game with a lot of energy. The patrons got their monies worth tonight.

amazing game by justice, countryman got in foul trouble early and couldnt get going......kid was pulling up from 4 feet behind the line, unbelievable........great win for manchester
