Last week was a great first week with a lot of people chiming in. Great job by everyone voicing their opinions and trying to be objective. Anyone with scores of some of the top teams of any games last week feel free to post them here so that voters have more to go on.

I have no scores for Piketon or L.E. from last week.

Chillicothe beat Jackson 56-41 and Springfield 68-52 at the Flyin' to the hoop invitational in Kettering.

Peake beat athens 50-33 at the Beasts of the Southeast and beat River Valley 77-42

Warren beat Harvest Prep 63-58 and Gahs 64-50

Ironton beat Dayton Horizon Science Academy 79-15

Oak Hill lost twice this week to Valley and Fairland. Don't have scores.

Peebles beat Eastern Brown 73-54

Portsmouth Beat Waverly 77-60 and Logan 81-53

Manchester beat Fayetteville 72-60 and N.A. 64-59

South Webster lost to Waverly 65-62

Wheelersburg beat Minford 49-23

If anyone has corrections, additions, or feels another team's results should be listed just go ahead and post it.

Last week's final poll results were:

rank. team points
1. Chillicothe 130
2. Chesapeake 121
3. Piketon 87
4. Logan Elm 83
5. Warren 76
6. Ironton 52
7. Oak Hill 28
(tie) 8. Portsmouth 13
(tie) 8. Peebles 13

Also receiving points:
Manchester (5), Wheelersburg (2), South Webster (1)

There you have it. Let the voting begin.

Did I read on one of your earlier post that you are going to start the Voting on Sunday's, allow people to vote all week, and tally the final scores on Saturday's? Just making a suggestion but it might be a better weekly poll if people are allowed to vote from Sunday to Tuesday. This would allow everyone to vote on the Elite 8 teams before any weekly games have been played. Example: Lets say I vote Chillicothe #1 and than they lose Tuesday night and lose again Friday night (we know this would never happen). Now, someone else comes along on Saturday and Votes Chillicothe #8 because they have back to back losses. If different people are voting based on different game results it makes for inconsistent polling? Just a thought?

That is a very good point Jimmy. What if I were to tally the final votes on Wednesday so that that way it would be truly representative of the week that was? Then I could post the final results along with either starting a new thread or allowing people to post scores on the existing thread and then use that as the poll beginning on Sunday. I think that would probably be the best. Start a new Thread on Wednesday. Post the results from last week. Anyone posts updates throughout the week and the I post the poll to vote for on Sunday's again.

Anyone else have any thoughts as we try to make this the best we can?

I am waiting for the Portsmouth/Ironton game before I cast my vote because I think Portsmouth is playing some good ball right now and might pull off the upset which would/should send them up everyone's rankings.

Someone said they didn't have LE's scores from this week:

Sunday - 10-0 Carrollton 38, 9-2 Logan Elm 36
Saturday - Logan Elm 43, Fairfield Union 39
Thursday - 8-2 Teays Valley 31, Logan Elm 29

LE's offense has kind of hit the skids at the moment, but they look to be playing good defense. LE doesn't have that consistent 20PPG scorer, they rely on five players to score between 8-15 PPG.
