I would say that with the sun coming out today, that the roads should be fine for the Marietta game........there's more than a day for the roads to clear, and it's 4 lanes all the way for MHS.

Marietta has been the surprise team in the SEOAL to date, going 9-2.......didn't think the Tigers would do this well coming into the season........only losses being to Chillicothe and Warren.......the Tigers beat Cambridge twice.

Portsmouth has to maintain focus, not only for a possible SEOAL title, but also for the tournament draw........with either scenario, the Trojans cannot afford another loss.

This should be a good game the Tigers are going to have to play good team basketball. I feel the Marietta is ready to get back on the court after letting the Warren game slip away from them. I am going to say the Tigers come out ready to play and win by 4.

looks like Portsmouth and Marrietta played good against a good Warren team,,portsmouth had a 10 plus lead over Warren in the second half and Let it slip away

I'm glad this game is going to get played ! I feel Portsmouth is going to leave off where they did at Ironton and come out hot and play good team Basketball. Can't wait for the game..... Go Trojans

I think the turnovers were much more hurtful to the Tigers against Warren than the missed FTs. Missing the FTs just meant that Warren didn't have to play their most aggressive turnover producing defense as much in order to create enough more turnovers to get into the lead.

This is gonna be another close one for us. I think Portsmouth might be a little too much but i'm hoping we can play angry and focused after losing to Warren.

Lets go Tigers, bring the big win back to Washington County!!!

Portsmouth is really good. If the players stay focused and keep up the defensive intensity, they could make a serious run for Columbus.

58-38 final.
Marietta cut the lead to 10 at 40-30 near the end of third but went cold and Portsmouth went on a large run.
I agree falconfan as long as Portsmouth shares the rock they could go far in the tourney they are loaded with talent.

Good W Trojans! Really solid on the defensive end but didn't shoot the best offensively.

Agree great job by the Trojan Express. Oldtrojan was right very nice passing by the Trojans. Also some nice highlight plays including the HUGE block from behind that Dion McKinley had on the 6'11 kid as he was going up for an open dunk or layup. Great W Trojans and everybody get well and have a great week of practice and be ready for Jackson coming to town Friday. Go Trojans!

tobias...great job by the trojans on "d" if he didnt score after having 23 against warren on tuesday night...sounds like the trojans are playing good ball

He played. Couldn't knock down a shot, and had Evans in his face from the get-go. Tough night for him.
