Are you wanting information on these 2 games or saying they have already been cancelled?
As far as I know the Burg vs Webster game is going to be played tonight

Any school that cancels for tomorrow need to take a heavy dose of Midol, and hire men for their AD's

There shouldn't be any reason the east and Wellston game is cancelled. Highways are clear. and there isn't any snow in the forcast for tonight...

East has some issues. They have missed at least four or five games now, many nights when everyone else plays, East sits out. Not sure who is making those calls, but it definetly seems to be a problem with them.

Agree! No reason the game should have been canceled this may be the only game in Ohio not being played tonight. What a joke!

Wow, what kind of conditions does it need to be outside in order to play a basketball game these days?
"Well, it's not 70 degrees and sunny out - so I guess teams' will be cancelling eh?"

Honestly, if I was East, I may think twice about getting ol' bus number 12 out on these cold nights too. Unlike most other schools, they're not driving any c2's in Sciotoville.

I wonder if any of you that are clamouring because of the cancellation of games tonight may have seen the nightly news about the girl's team whose bus was hit by a semi that lost control because of ice?
Vinton County is still under a Level 2 Snow emergency and Jackson, Hocking, and a few others are under Level 1 Snow emergency. Under level 1 as well as Level 2 drivers are encouraged to not to drive or to use extreme caution. If a school bus had a wreck under these snow emergency levels, how do you think they are going to fare in court?
Thank goodness some that are in disbelief about not playing are not in charge of making decisions.

Vinton County has one of the best road crews around. You can always tell when you have entered VC from the NSE or W. Any scores from the games today? I have been out of town all day.
