Depends on which Valley team shows up. If its the team that played unselfish, team first hoops, 2 weekends ago when they knocked off Oak Hill and Reedsville, then this will be a good game. If its the no energy bull crap they played with Friday at Northwest, then Stegman will hang 30+ and the Burg will roll. It should be interesting either way.

i believe valley has the skill to beat the burg just not the coaching. I have heard that there are some frustrated folks in the ville as of late--this could explaine the "which team is going to show up" statement.

I know Burg has stepped it up a notch lately. Stegman has been playing with more tenasity. I think Valley could win though if they catch Burg looking ahead to the Webster game on Friday (which I might add will be NUTS!) Burg is first in the SOC and now have a big target on their back..we will see what happens!
GO BURG!

3 tough ball games coming up for da Burg.. Valley (tues), Soth Webster (fri)and then Ironton ( tues 8th).. All away games too..
Burg i feel will be playing for the 3 seat in the tourny draw if they could find a way to win all of these games.. Can not overlook anyone, one game at a time..

no problem for burg in this game, and those next two that you were talking about... this team has a lot of heart and determination... something that has seemed to be lacking in a lot of soc 2 teams this year

burg will have their hands full in Webster without their usual 8 man offense... I'll take Burg in this one at valley

Burg really took control that quarter with their strong defense holding Valley to 3 points.

Why ? Are they allowed to take their 8 man offense to Valley?

of valleys rebounds Yates had 12 of those also 2 or 3 steals and several assists...congratulations Blake on your 1,000th point ......as for the team you are much better than what you are playing right now and that means EVERYONE....until someone can make a 15 foot jump or a layup for that matter with some kind of consistancy why in the world a we jacking 3's.....THE SHOOTING PERCENTAGE IS ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE....go back over the season and take a look and l bet there is not one game that it has been over 30 percent except maybe the Oak Hill game at home .....WNXT had it at 26 % but Burg 77 had it at 22% which I think is probably correct ....Now I dont know if you dont get to practice shooting during practice much BUT MY GOD WE ARE MAKING EASY SHOTS LOOK VERY VERY DIFFICULT ....Ok I'm done with the rant now

First I would like to congraulate Blake Yates on his 1,000 point last night.
IMO, Burg played its best, overall game last night from start to finish. I do not want to single out any player because everyone that stepped on the court contributed in a positive way.
Valley is much more talented than what they played. With the tempo that Villinger wants to play, he has to sub kids in and out frequently. Quick ball movement, movement among the players and the extra pass are keys to this offense. Last night, IMO, those three things were not consistent.

good for yates to get 1000, but forced many shots. burg defense shut him down. he may have had 15 but he had the coby bryant approach to point getting.

HiTops Dont know if you are from Valley or not and dont really care but there are some internal issues plaguing the team right now hopefully they can refocus and make some noise in the tourney.
