Both teams have one game before this big SEOAL matchup but I figured we might as well start talking about it. In the last matchup, Warren prevailed 3 points. This is shaping up to be a great game and it will be loud, as always in this rivalry, in the smaller gym out in Vincent.
So let's hear it. Predictions, thoughts, anything.

The effect of the "sixth man" (the fans) will be quite one-sided due to the fact that Warren is only allowing Marietta 200 pre-sale tickets for this game. The rest will probably sell out before the game limiting the number of Tiger fans that will get in. Heck, the Marietta student section would need most of those 200!

If Marietta can play like they did against Portsmouth then I'll take them by 4

Warrior Dome is smaller than Sutton ...yes it should pre-sell out...you want in see the scalpers in the parking lot before the game...going for $50

pre-sales are fine if there is a little more equality in the distribution

They started selling tickets at marietta on Friday, also. Still have some left to my knowledge. I agree with Etta34. Wayne Evans killed us with 39 points but I don't think Warren has as many great weapons as Portsmouth.

You know how hard its been to keep our kids from scoring 30 pts each all year?! Now, DON'T MAKE ME LET THEM LOOSE JUST TO PROOVE A POINT.

In a big rivalry game like this one the other school always gets 200 tickets. It has been that way for years. The announcement was made at the Jackson game Tue., most of Marietta players were at the game. THEY KNEW!!

Warren needs a new gym, a new SCHOOL, SCHOOLS. The Warren people have their chance to make this happen TUE. 2-8. VOTE YES!!!! and hopefully down the road we will have what Marietta, Jackson, Gallia, Logan, and Portsmouth all have. VOTE YES!!!!!!!!!!!!

The game will be a DANDY, as always. Warren needs this one to stay in the SEOAL title hunt. Marietta would love to spoil that. The Emotions will be HIGH, and the crowds loud. What more can you ask for in a High School basketball game. GO TEAM WARREN WARRIORS!!!!!!!!!!!

Excoach78: the announcement (about ticket sales) was made at WHAT Jackson game on Tuesday? Most Marietta players were there? Marietta played on the road @ Logan Tuesday, so your post makes no sense.
