Western @ Clay -Senior night, Boy and Girls 02-08-11
I was just told that tomorrow nights game at Clay with Western will now be a triple header with the JV boys game starting at 5 pm, Varsity girls to follow, then Varsity Boys game to close the evening. Boys and Girls seniors will be recognized. This will be the last Varsity Game to be played in Clay's gym (at least for the boys). The new facility should be opened up by next season. As for the score, I suspect Coach T will let the horses run loose tomorrow.

Good luck to the Clay Panthers. To the seniors, it's been fun watching you guys for the past 4 years, especially my nephew Jon Valentine. I wish I could be there tonight to watch your last game in Clays old gym, but I will do my best to be there Friday at Green to watch that game.

CLAY.........26...19...26...20.... 91
WESTERN....85...5....9....14....36
Clay wins all three matches, Boys JV, Girls varsity and Boys Varsity. Again, hats off to Western for hustling all four quarters. Would be easy for them to give up but they played hard all night.
Clay put all 11 players in the scoring column. For the seniors it was Delotell 14, Valentine and Porter 12, Burchett and Bussler 11, Adams 8 and Graham 7. Juniors had King- 7, Kelley 3, Hiles 2 and Ruby 2.
