Re: All SEOAL
Man you aint kidding, its gonna be a knock down drag out. ALOT of GOOD players! I will say this though JALEN RAGLAND PLAYER OF THE YEAR....ohiobaseball25 wrote:This will be a great debate as the teams in this league all have great players.
Re: All SEOAL
I agree a LOT of potentials. Here's some players I've seen and thought stood out
Jalen Ragland - CHS
Malik London - CHS
Tyler Manion - CHS
Wayne Evans - PHS
Dion McKinley - PHS
Andrew Bendolph - PHS
Austin Cunningham - WHS
Grant Venham - WHS
Wes Riley - MHS
Nathan Williams - MHS
Colt Chapman - JHS
Bryce Amos - GAHS
Sorry I don't have any Logan players listed. I remember watching them vs PHS as I haven't missed a game yet this year except the FL games. I know they weren't bad but very balanced attack when PHS faced them. I tried to find a roster to jog my memory of some names but I couldnt find one.

Re: All SEOAL
Yea I Think Miller was the lastname of the Logan player I thought did well against us. I also agree Moore is a good player as well GAHS. Also Austin Wilson is very scrappy guard. Thanks
I think if Gallia would've opened the offense up some more they might have won a few more ballgames as they have a pretty athletic team. If anything maybe dribble drive and kick to a shooter as against PHS first time around I thought they had a few decent perimeter shooters.
Also I think Chapman from Jackson is very under the radar as I think he will have a bigger year next year. I would like to maybe see an all-SEOAL starting 5 and 6th man.
C- Malik London
PF- Dion McKinley
SF- Jalen Ragland
SG- Wayne Evans
PG- Austin Cunningham or Andrew Bendolph

Re: All SEOAL
dont forget Mr. Ragland made the shot beyond the three point line with Venham in his back pocket to beat Warren....that right there should give the edge over AC...Ragland also is runner up to Blake Justice who won POY SE District...

Re: All SEOAL
Jalen Ragland scores 31 tonight with a victory over Pick Central, D1. He had atleast 5 treys and 3 dunks. He should be the SEOAL MVP, imo. Mr. Cunningham is a great player but when it was time to make a play/shot at the end of the ball game the other night the young man from Warren misses a FT and the young man from Chillicothe buries an NBA 3 Pointer with a man in his face to win the league title. Just my opinion but he should have sole possession of that honor. Cunnington deserves 1st team, no doubt.

Re: All SEOAL
Just one question gives me my answer to POY. How many kids in the league can go into enemy territory in Warren and score all of his teams and 15 straight points in the 3rd qtr? In a game of that magnitude, Mr. Ragland turns a halftime deficit into a lead. Warren plays excellent Team D, yet he would not be denied.
Many kids are deserving off all-league. Unfortunately, some kids will get left out. I'm sure coaches will do a good job though.

Re: All SEOAL
sorry if i'm offending anyone, but i just dont see malik london on this list. he is, by far, the most athletically gifted player in the SEOAL, but the times that i have seen him, he hasnt transitioned that athleticism to the court. Player of the year is without a doubt Ragland, hands down.
Re: All SEOAL
He is the best defender in the league look at all the blocks he has....he had 4 straight at Warren....dennisdrinksbud wrote:sorry if i'm offending anyone, but i just dont see malik london on this list. he is, by far, the most athletically gifted player in the SEOAL, but the times that i have seen him, he hasnt transitioned that athleticism to the court. One game does not define the whole season you have to look at the big picture

Re: All SEOAL
Kenneth Buckler for Logan should make it since he hasnt missed a game yet and he is the most productive on Logan's team and Luke Miller

Re: All SEOAL
London averaging 12 ppt, 9 rpg and 6 blocks per game. His shot blocking and altering account for at least 8 ppt for Chilly. My guess is Chilly is the stingiest d in the league.

Re: All SEOAL
Ragland is definitely player of the year. Like people have said, best player on the best team. He goes on these streaks where he just does not miss and he brings his team back a lot of the times. If Warren would've beaten Chilli and won the league, I could understand the argument for AC but with some of the games that Jalen has had, he should win.
