Hopefully Austin Loop will be 100% healthy Saturday. For the Jeeps to win big tonight with him still ill was a great accomplishment. Hats off to the team!
Fairfield sounds like the real deal so the guys need to be focused and leave it all on the court.

This post is not aimed at anyone specifically but I find it funny that a few weeks ago people just thought of Fairfield as a decent team with a lot of losses. When I would rank them people would only see the record and say "but they have 11 losses". Before the tournament draw I told people that there was no difference between Manchester and Fairfield and that basically no matter what seed they got they were equal to the #1/#2 seed in talent. Not sure people believed but now they do. More than likely after tomorrow your going to have 3 SHL schools playing for District Championships.

If you research a few pages back they were around 1-6 or something and I was also saying that once Rolark AND Cox are in their together they are definately a top 5 D4 team. Recall Whiteoak's very difficult schedule and who beat the the worst....Fairfield.

This will be a very good game just like Eastern/Fairfield

As you know what's more important is how you finish. And Fairfield is finishing strong.
Jeeps will need to work for this win. No easy games from here on out.

What was the final score of South Webster and Eastern Pike?

Should be a good one! South Webster defeated Leesburg in the Sectional Finals last year at Valley and now they match up again this year in the District Finals at Athens.

Jimmy Chipwood: I asked you earlier in the year if Reedsville Eastern's record wasn't a product of a weak TVC Hocking. I think we saw some of that tonight. Not to take anything away from Leesburg's win, but did that look like the 8th best team in the state tonight? I believe that if Manchester and Whiteoak win tomorrow night, then the best 4 division 4 teams are the ones left standing on Saturday. It doesn't surprise me at all that Fairfield beat Eastern tonight. Fairfield had more talent, height and athletes on the floor. The fact that Reedsville kept it close was due to Howie and a very disciplined approach.

The Wheelersburg vs Peebles match up makes me feel a little better about this one. If Peebles would have blown out the Pirates I would be worried about how the SOC2 matches up with the SHL. I think we will be fine!

What a arrogant post svbt1112. Eastern(Meigs) had a great season. We are just a small rural part of East Meigs County.

Eagle82: you are correct the Eagles had a great season and finishing 18-4 is not anything to hang your head about. I was simply talking to Jimmy about a 10-11 Fairfield team and how they matched up with the 8th ranked and #1 seeded Reedsville team. I also believe that Fairfield matches up well with the Jeeps and this should be a great game. The SHL small school division is a great Division 4 league. It hurt Peebles a little bit, but has definitely helped Whiteoak, Manchester and Fairfield be tournament ready.

for south webster to beat fairfield they will have to do a better job on cox than eastern reedsville did.

Eastern Reedsville's main problem was their tallest kid on the floor was 6'0. I thought they did all they could........... I don't think Cox made a shot outside of 2 feet---he didn't have to!

Hopefully playing Burg twice with Stegman and Northwest twice with Crabtree will help us prepare.

Then again---Fairfield only scored 43 points........... I think we would take that!

Is the game being played at 10:30 A. M. on Saturday? I think it will be a very close one, but I hope the Jeeps will win. Will any radio station be broadcasting it?
