With four footballers getting a late start this season, Cadets might be in trouble.

That being said I'll take the Fort in a close one.

I think Justin Anderson is going to have a gigantic year and this is step 1.

With several starters getting a late start this could play big in this game. Trail returns the core of their team. I think Trail gets this one in a close game at home but it will be different ending for the game @ the Fort

I think I read in a preview that BT was going to be without a couple of players early due to injury.

It will be almost 3 weeks from the playoff game by the time this tips off so I doubt that will be a factor. Plus Justin Anderson plays basketball year round. Having Lewis back will help put pressure off of him a bit. Prichard is in for a big year. Top 3 players all Srs.

Trail off to a good start at 2-0 and it is their first home game. Fort Frye's first game. It's going to be good one. Best 2 teams in the PVC going at it

Fort kinda at a disadvantage in this one but like I said it's just basketball you've played your whole life.

You're putting a lot of stock in wins over UL and Barnesville. Read the article on Barnesville/Shenandoah in the paper, Barnesville is still without Hannahs from the football suspension and started 2 sophomores and 2 freshmen. They also lost by double figures to Frontier in a preview. The newspaper preview on UL said they returned no starters and 1 lettermen and a new coach.
I agree that Trail should be much better this year but the league is way down and nobody is on Fort Fryes level in the PVC. Early or not I see fort by double figures

Listened on the radio I'm not sure the Cadets could of played worse but they got the W. I think this will be the closest anyone will get to them all year. Trail was on fire but Cadets defense was causing turnovers with that speed all night. Cadets got down 10 3 times in this game. Cadets came up in the clutch with some huge 3 pointers by Engle. They shut Doudna down pretty easy. Barnett and Beaver drilled some big shots. Cadets out scored the Warriors in the 4th 28-10.

Cadets 71
Buckeye Trail 58 Final

Anderson 22
Casey Lewis 13
Prichard 10
Tate 10
Bradford 6
Schott 6
Schilling 4

Barnett lead Trail 18.

Let me clarify I didn't mean in terms of by a point margin I meant Trail had them on the ropes. Really thought Trail was going to pull away a few times it just didn't happen. If these teams play in Beverly it would of been 20 points.

Season just started and every team in the league but Trail and Fort has 2 losses. The league is really down.

If you mean JUST PVC league games, I can buy that.
