Heard that Dave Parsons resigned as coach today.

Joe Garrett to Belpre ?

Word has it in Belpre that Joe Garrett has accepted the job of coach at Belpre.Hopefully he can turn the program around to what it was in the 90's.He should have came back two years ago and coached the talented kids that the Eagles had that have gone on to graduate.

CONGRATS to the Belpre basketball program and Coach Joe Garrett.

Welcome Back Coach Garrett!

Tough time for the Eagles not much left in terms of talent.Ryan Leasure,Drew Nestor,and Jake Ullman will lead the group.

As they say, here today gone tomorrow. I guess it's barbershop time, NEXT!!!!!! With Coach Garrett deciding not to coach after all,that's todays story,wait and watch for more, who is the next contender. Belpre has some talent and coachable players just need a coach to stay for more than 2 yrs to build a program and gain support. Hang in there boys.............

HIRE THORNHILL!Its what he wants to do you can tell on the radio he knows his stuff plus he has already coached most of these kids.

Garrett did that before a few years back. I think it was up around Columbus or points west of there. Saw no talent and school was football and he was gone.
Not sure why he accepted one minute and gone the next.

The dysfunction at belpre continues to amaze me. mind boggling!

I heard that the Belpre coach applied at Nelsonville York. Is there any truth to that? If so that would explain why he turned down Belpre.

Maybe get a good used car salesman to take the basketball job. Seems to be working out in football.

Yes, they beat Miller, and they are sending a kid, Erik Waderker to play D-1 football at Akron.

Only one win with a D1 talent at RB in SE Ohio......WOW......thats about all I can say. Someone needs to look at that.

Sounds like some jealous kids. You would think when a player from a small TVC school gets to play D1 that the other league schools would be happy for them instead of acting like an ignorant punk.
