Re: Coach Randy Ward
with the right coach that can get the best student athletes back to playing bb at cg, this could be at least a .500 or better ballclub, especially if they get to keep randy's watered down schedule of rose hill 3 times, east, st.joe menifee.
Re: Coach Randy Ward
Get the athletes out? If they really liked to play, and were willing to do what it took to play, they would play for anybody, not just the guy of their choosing. Just an excuse not to do the work. If they could play, they would, if they dont, they cant.

Re: Coach Randy Ward
spartan you are wrong. those kids work hard at every other sport and are successful. the game was no fun anymore for those kids because the lil general was all about himself. he took the fun and enjoyment out of the game. there has to be some positive encouragement for the kids to stick around. it just didn't matter to randy. but, come back during bb season and see if cg isn't doing better with the new coach, and the kids are enjoying themselves and the game like they r supposed to.

I think Rico Suave is leaving a part out of his equation of why students are not playing basketball at Coal Grove. Could it have anything to do with another coach "persuading" some not to play hoops and instead to follow other winter activities?
