Ithink the addition of a few of the freshmen along with the return of Knauff,Lightle,Ross,Wessel,Grooms and May this team has the ability to beat some teams in there league this year.

They should beat Clay and New Boston from what ive seen. Who is favored to win the league this season? What kind of teams do Green, Symmes Valley, Eastern, and Notre Dame have at the moment?

I would say Eastern and Symmes Valley are the favorites with Dotre Dame just off the pace . I think everyone else is pretty close on paper atleast.

What I have seen so far from western's new coach, he has brought the boys along way and if the school will back him WESTERN basketball will be in the hunt again.

The boys are working hard and the younger players are comeing along nicely. I think the upper classman are going to have to really carry the team till the younger ones get used to how physical varsity ball is but from what I have seen they won't back down from the challenge and that in it's self says something. I think as the season goes on they can be competitive in there league.

Very excited for this year wanting to see how the freshman do, as well as as who all steps up as leaders on the squad for Coach Jordan. The league is pretty much wide open if Knauff and the rest of the Knauffia boys Lightle,Shanks,Riggs,Brewster,Alexander,Garritt,Groms,May can focus and mesh old with the young who knows what lies instore for the could surprise some teams.

There's one but he's a nice player he will help the boys out alot on the boards and for most teams in our league he will be a machup nightmare at 6'3 to 6'4 very fast handles fair and can jump like a deer but we will have to see what happens alot of exchange students have trouble adjusting to the way the game is called. And in the SOC1 it was very physical last year so we will wait and see I guess.

If he turns out alright, sounds like Western could make a nice run this year for a productive and good season!

I think they can turn last year around just depends on if Knauff and Lightle can take the pressure off the younger ones till they can adjust to varsity speed and physical play then they could make some noise. But those are kinda big IF'S you know. But that's the great thing about sports you never know.

Good numbers at open gym so far. Coach Jordans going to atleast have some bodies to sub in and out this year which should realy help them out this year. Keep working boys.

Very impressed with the boys work ethic so far Knauff and Lightle are leading by example and the the younger kids are eating up any tips they give them. Shanks has a very high basketball IQ and the Riggs kid for a freshman is relentless on the boards. Going to be a fun group to watch great chemistry.

Here's our schedual
Sciotoville
@ Manchester
@ Clay
Green
@ Peebles
Holiday classic Waverly
Holiday classic Waverly
@ New Boston
Southeastern
Notre Dame
Symmes Valley
Paint Valley
@ Eastern
Clay
@ Green
@sciotoville
New Boston
@ Notre Dame
@ Symmes Valley
Eastern

Pretty tough schedual for a very young team again this year. The Holiday classic first game is us vers. waverly. Looking forward to seeing the boys in action this year a little different style of play this year and some much needed depth this season could be a fun team to watch with the changes in style that Jordan has made but once again we are young. Hope to see you all at the games this year . GO INDIANS !!!!!!!!
