... Congratulations to the Generals of Sheridan and Coach Booth !!! ... a great story this season from the MVL and those Generals ... young team with a great returning player in Jacob Horsley ... veteran senior in Horsley starts the season trying to cover for the mistakes of the youngsters... senior struggles trying to do everything - TEAM struggles ... the coaches for Sheridan coach/teach the veteran to let the youngsters make their mistakes/learn the varsity game ... learn their roles =>
veteran/senior begins to shine again, doing what he does best on the floor while TEAM starts to gel ... youngsters bring their own game to the floor, TEAM comes together ... great stuff imo as Sheridan has grown as a TEAM, has earned their "W" tonight ... has earned the Sectional Championship AND an opening round game at the Convo for Basketball Thirty ... Best of luck to Sheirdan as they will take on Chillicothe next Wednesday night in Athens ...
... this story-line is what high school hoops is all about ! ... what coaching is all about - the creation of "a TEAM" - excellent job of teaching/coaching Coach Booth and staff ...

Tough season for Marietta. Played a very competitive schedule. Good senior class that will be missed.

Disappointing season, showed some creativity finally playing some zone but was a little to late. Will be interesting what they can put together for next year. Word around Washington county is maybe a coaching change on the way... A change maybe leaving a spot open at Warren..

This coming from a guy calling coach's punks and stuff. How would u know about zones and coaching changes??? You struggle enough making left hand turns on the track seeing how we know who you are. Stay over on the track and cross country board and quit cutting on Marietta, especially when it's helping put some food on your table.
