They return some nice players from there awsome run this year. POY Chad Lands , SOC 1st teamer Tay Pickett, as well as Brandon Murphy, the Thacker kid. As well as Brandon Rowe who is going to be a freshman and has good size and ability. And who knows maybe they will have a surprise or two pop up that will help them as well ( exchange student, move in, ) they could be very competative next year as well. It will be fun to watch cause I think JP Fitch is a great coach heck he's won the league 2 out of the last 3 years he will have the Eagles flying high buy seasons start I'm sure.

Having Lands and Pickett will give coach a good nucleus to work around. Still, losing 3 starters and Bobst will hurt I think?

Yeah losing 3 starters is tough, Roberts a great defensive player who could slash very well and create for others, Satterfield who was a good shooter and scored quite a few points and than Lykins who put up good numbers despite foul trouble most of the year honest could have averaged around 16 pts and 10 boards if was in more. Bobst will hurt because of his energy and intensity and also the fact he could guard inside and outside against about anybody.

Eastern should be really good again next year and with the experience they gained this year will help them. Hopefully for SEO teams they change our regional. IMO Lands should be a top candidate for District Player of the Year, although being in District 13 won't help him.

Manchester will be down next year and South Webster should still be very good. Fairfield will be the best D4 team in the SHL next season. Eastern has as good a shot as any of being near or at the top for D4 teams in the area next year.

I think Eastern and Notre Dame are the top 2 with Symmes and East close by. Green then New Boston , Clay, and Western in that second tier. Next season will come down to Eastern and Notre Dame I think. Lands and Pickett are quite a hand full.

Yeah that and Colton Lightle should help alot too with his three point shooting ability if he can pick up his defense and ballhandling he could be a handful as well

Remember Lightle ran the point his whole career till this year. And was moved off the point to make it easier to get open looks by the coach. He and Lands played AAU together last summer and really played well together with Pickett. And his deffense will be fine I think and if it's not coach Fitch won't play him . He played 3/4 of the season hurt this year with alsgood slaghters in both knees from running cross country and not resting them this problem effected him as a freshmen as well. He won't make that mistake again by running he will rest them give ball his full attention and try to add to an already very good team.

He will work hard and hopefully it will show on the floor.

Yeah he can replace Aaron Satterfield, replacing Lykins is goin to be hard cause Brandon Murphy cant keep his head during games, if he can keep his head though him and Pickett can be close to unstopable next year.

The 2012-2013 team is going to have a ton of seniors on it with lots of varsity experience . They could be a vaery tuff team with the depth Fitch will have to work with next year. I think this summer will fun to watch this team develop. They have the potential to score in bunches and really pressure the ball on deffense.

I agree Lightle, the Eagles will have a ton of depth at guard but be a little thin in the paint. They will need to get up and down the floor a little more, and I'm sure you will see more man instead of zone next year which Fitch would prefer to play. We should easily be able to pressure the ball and give teams trouble in the full or half court. We could see a few games in the 70's and 80's with this group, they have 3 guys who are capable of giving you 25 on a given night

It should be fun but like you said they have a few kids that are proven scores like Lands,Pickett,Lightle but with those 3 on the floor it's going to make the game easier for the younger kids to contribute because of the attention they will draw. I just hope they all stay injury free so they can try to follow in this years footsteps .

I agree that the Eagles will likely need to press and go back to that style of ball (which I love!). It will be important for the Eagles to make each game a full court game I would think. I would say that although there is depth at guard, I also agree with SOCFAN1430 that the Eagles will not have any depth in the post? With Lykins and Bobst gone, who is gonna step up and fill that role?
Other than Pickett, I am not sure. He is a good player, but would struggle guarding any physical big man inside. Any foul trouble with Pickett would also be disasterous.
Hopefully Murphys improves alot before next season. A 7-footer from the ukraine would help alot...lol Or, maybe the 14th man on Africentric will move to Beaver...lol

Maybe Baisden can give them some min or even Chase Lightle . This summer is important for some of the younger post players to develope there games for sure.
