Ozzie or 93 bulldog or anyone, Please post this: PFLOYD and his family are in need of prayer. He is not getting good reports right now
and all your thoughts and prayers would be extremely helpful. He and his entire family need the prayers of the SEOPS nation.

Wow!!! I decided to get on SEOPs to check things out - I find PFLOYD in lights !!! ... I thank all of you for your support - I never had any doubt about the support here on SEOPs - you folks are special people, great friends as we all love the game of high school hoops Below the Lancaster-Dixon Line ... Frog is correct - I have had "not good news" from my latest CT/PET scans ... cancer has spread to the pleura around my lungs, into the left quadrant of my abdomen, and found it's way into my liver all of which has been determined to be inoperable - I was pretty down/depressed early on when I got the reports ... but doing okay right now - met with my oncologist at OSU on Wednesday last week - we have a game plan in place ... I started chemotherapy yesterday - using the drug Zelboraf which is a relatively new drug that targets the proteins that allow the cancer to grow/spread. My time frame for chemo is 4 1/2 months to be follow with a 2nd phase which may require a hospital stay of up to a month or so BUT I'm not going to worry about down the road yet ... trying to get thru the right now stuff - trying to get my head wrapped around what is happening, the possible scenarios ...
... for right now I'm hanging in there, going to have to come out in the 3rd quarter and get back in this game tho it looks like ... I'll try to get on the computer to let folks know how things are going ... thanks so much for all of the positive thoughts and prayers - it means a great deal to this old basketball guy ...
