How will football affect Beaver Eastern Basketball

Next year there is talk of having a Freshman team, then all out highschool football the following year. How will this affect the future of Eastern Basketball? Will it help the BB program or hamper it?

It will do both, a double edge sword. More boys stay/transfer to/at Eastern to play football, so numbers are better. But it takes away from time spent on practicing basketball. Good luck with it

It will give more young men an opportunity to experience the benefits of extra curricular activities. And I would think something for the people to look forward to and do on Friday nights in the fall.
