What is everyone hearing surrounding this team? Expectations etc etc.

Let's get this year started!

Zach Johnson will get his 20 per game. This team will have to use their quickness and defense to win games. Tallest player, as far as I know that will play is Zach Johnson who's 6'2-6'3. They're gonna need Isaiah Johnson and Bixler to score around 10-15 game, IMO.

How does their schedule look rabeanos?

Honestly I dont know anything about the schedule or much about the team other than the Bixler/Johnson boy. That is why I asked! lol. I wanna know whats up my alma mater this year!

Not gettin too much love on this blog though. Im sure Hitchens will be on in the upcoming weeks to hit everyone with an update.

It seems that alot of folks are not giving Chillicothe much respect for the next several years but I don't see that. They will still have a large pool of talent to pick from. I hope to see them continue to have a strong program. Arent they changing leagues soon?

Chillicothe will be fine this year, they have one of the best players in the district in Zach Johnson and a couple returners in Adam Bixler and Isaiah Johnson. Haven't heard much on the schedule but I look for them to compete for a SEOAL title and district title as the Cavaliers usually do.

I know the talent pool is very good the Freshman class has a couple real nice players and the 8th grade has a Stud who might get a little varsity time next year. The Cavs should be fine for the upcoming years.

Look for good contributions or minutes from Nolan Taylor and Tommy Bolte. Like the coach, very organized and detailed from what i have seen.

Any word on if our tallest player is Johnson? If so regardles of how well we play it will be hard to make a deep run without a true center.

The ture center was cut on Saturday. So much for having anytype of big man. Let's see what happens.

If the kid has any athletic ability I'm sure he wouldnt have been cut.

The schedule above is mostly correct. No Miami Trace game. Add Canal Winchester at CHS on 2/15 instead.
First game is with Grove City on 11/30 and the second will be either Westland or Brunswick (which play each other on 11/30).
I believe the Quaker Invite 12/28 & 12/29 will be vs New Philadelphia and West Holmes on the second night.

Took the trip to Hillsboro to see the Scimmage, Varsity looked ok, good except for some miscues here and there. Kinda disappointed with the JV games I caught, again I didnt see them all they had them in two gyms. Discipline Focus and attitude seem to be a problem, great athletic ability from one young man inside had a dunk, another boy running the point has a good shot, no D, or handles, small kid from Hillsboro stole from him all game. Really disappointed with the future. Hillsboro beat them after I left from what I hear. I think this years varsity should be ok.
