Huntington Prep

It is difficult to consider Huntington Prep a "high school" team IMHO.

And since many of of us are in River towns like myself in Gallipolis, I'm sure some will care. That being said I'm sure some will not.

Point Pleasant has 11 seniors on the squad this year and 2 of their better players who started last year and will again start this year are now a sophomore (6'3" Aden Yates) and a junior (6'4" Darryl Wade Martin). They went to the state tournament last year however they moved from AA to AAA so they will be playing tougher competition and also have a first year coach although he has been an assistant for years there. I look for them to have a winning season and be a good team even in AAA.

Been hearing Huntington High School has a good team. Logan, Beckley - Woodrow Wilson and South Charleston usually have good teams too.

Well, some teams from Ohio play teams from West Virginia, so it's not really too far off topic.

7 seniors as of right now for us I do believe, not quite 11.

Don't forget second team all-state guard Dillon McCarty. Dillon is about 150 points shy of 1000 points for his career.

I'll go with the "who cares" attitude. Very few teams play WV teams, and never once have I thought how they are doing. I'll take Ohio basketball any day.
