I believe it is their center Floyd ... I talked to some Peake guys down at Rio Grande - and they said they would be much better when they got their big man back, who was hurt during football season.

Looking at the roster from last year ... #44 Chad Meadows 6-foot-3 looks to be the only big guy that would have returned this season.

It is Chad Meadows, a junior this year and his brother Brad a freshmen dresses varsity. Friday was his first game back this year.

... thanks peake71 ... looked back at my napkin stats as well, saw where Chad Meadows appeared in all 4 games I watched Chesapeake play last season - so he has varsity experience, didn't pick up any points in the games I "eye tested" but varsity experience helps Coach Davis' cause when he can bring in a 6-3/6-4 body in the paint for the Panthers ...

Chad is a big body, but he is a good rebounder, plays good defense and will get you some points. I think he had 10 -11 pts fri and 12 on sat. He had several blocks in the Cin. Anderson game.

... sounds like big #44 is just what the doctor, Coach Davis, ordered heading into the big league matchup with Fairland on Friday night ...

Panthers have too many guns for the Dragons this time around.

BTW, Peake Hoops, you can use the "Edit" feature to correct the spelling, if U wish.

Right now, I believe this game is a hoss and a hoss.

How will these teams matchup? Fairland being mostly guards and the panthers being bigger in the paint?

nice win by my Dragons, they never gave up and finally got that panther off their back! Give credit to chesapeake because if they have not won so many in a row (I quit counting) the game would not have been such a huge victory. Hopefully Fairland starts their own string ( you have to start at one, right). Take care of the OVC games next week! Go Dragons!

Greenwave comes up with the craziest predictions! Lol! Great game! Fairland deserved that one. Anxious to see how CG matches up with Peake and Fairland. Otherwise, the Fairland/Chesapeake game at Peake will be a big one.
